Sheb's a hoopy frood who knows where his towel is. And now that I see that Paradox is taking this game WAY too seriously, I'm even more inclined to bail.  :-\

I'd never thought of the Paradox forums as being composed primarily of humorless grognards. I am disappoint.

My main issue wasn't that you guys claimed Turkey but that according to HellAngel you had apparently decided you needed two whole countries to yourself and that comes off as pretty demanding.  I mean its almost like someone here going. "We claim Germany, Britain and Spain, anybody who signs up here is our enemy!"  You have one country, you don't need two, man.

What i said was a reaction to someone saying they wanted to invade Iraq. See it as you will, but we have some players and Turkey simply wasnt enough to cover it all. I didnt intend to come off as impolite, but then again, i dont really care.

Also, if you guys want to take one or two provinces of Iraq, you are free to do so, that wasnt the question. I said if you attack us, we react accordingly.

Damn, my sense of humor doesn't seem to go well with you guys :p.

I think there is a great difference between Paradoxian and Bay12ers. You come from a community based on grand strategy games, we come from a community based on the idea that "Losing is Fun!". We're just on two different level, you are actually serious about this, when I was like "Oh, a war, let's see what fun we can get out of it." (Remind me that I still need to ship 50,000 $ to someone. Damn bet.)

I'm glad to let USEC_OFFICER deal with you, hopefully, he'll manage to communicate more fruitfully.

Oh, and if you set a foot in Kuwait, I'll track you down, kidnap your dog, cook it with thyme (Yes, you hear me, THYME!) then eat it, record my meal and send the video to your little sister. Don't want to sound impolite, and if you think I'm impolite, I'll eat your kitten too. Twice.

Hey guys, another Paradoxian here. Yeah we take our games seriously but we also know how to laugh and have fun, we're actually quite a nice community if you get to know us. It seems we all got off to a bad start..

I was pretty disappointed when I read after the Dutch invaded that you all had allied with them. Before all this started I was hoping China and UK would ally as you guys started at a similar time to us (making us both behind the rest of the world) and we both had English speaking player bases. I do hope we can cooperate in Lion, we could make a pretty powerful team; the Polish players still have the advantage of having a lot of experience over all of us, and could very well become a threat. Not only that, you will soon learn that it is very good to have us on your side :P

Other than that, I enjoy sunset walks on the cratered beaches of Hainan, and building taunting messages to my enemies with railroads. How about you?

The problem is with trying to restrict access is that our own people wont be able to see or use it easily. Also keeping it private means only a hand full of people can work on it and I know I don't have the time to fill it out myself.

I would rather have everyone able to discuss, read and so on easily to be honest to help them get started and stay motovated and encourage new players. It would be allot of effort and after all of that they only need one alt account to play a short time and they gain access to everything anyway.

Clearly some things do need to be kept private and I will remove the link  :P

If any one has been intrested in joining the game, now would be the perfect time to test it out on the new Lion server. I think we need quiet a few more dwarfs to help us diggy diggy holes in Persia!

Shiraz would be a usefull spot.
