There's apparently one day left till the new server, "Lion", starts. Any idea on what country we're going? Persia?  Italy?

Update: The University of Dundee has concluded that earlier reports were in error, and that linear unit upgrades are, in fact, required. We apologize for the inconvenience and assure you that the researchers responsible for the earlier mistake have been thoroughly flogged.

So yeah...turns out you can't jump years on the unit upgrades. I'm still going to let the 1936 tech finish because I don't want to lose the progress on it and it's only a few more days. Then I'll do 1936 infantry, then do some of the engine and armor upgrades to get us to 1935 and 1936 tankettes. After that, I'll work on the airforce.

Really? 'Cause I'm the only one who I saw actively advocate for Persia. Most people seemed to want Italy. Maybe we should do a poll.

In the Westminster Forums support for Persia was higher (by a whole two people!).

Honestly debate for the new country has been lukewarm at best. Persia is just the country that's slightly ahead right now. A poll would be great though.

whenever I go to "sign in" and select "wolf" ( our server) it gives me a 404 error. what could cause that, and how do I fix it?


also, I am currently working on the third unit of tankettes. should I continue building them, or should I rather switch to light or medium tanks?

Switch to medium tanks. Honestly, our military need rationalizing. That means focusing on Medium Tanks, Tank Destroyers and SP guns apparently (didn't do the math, but everyone do it, so they must give the most bang for your bucks).

We'll also need loads of marines, so it'd be nice if a couple province could focus on them.

very well, I'll finish the third unit ( left undeployed, to reinforce the 2 units I already have) and then move to medium tanks. if we are going to skip tankettes in the future , maybe we shouldn't research tech for them.

Noted. Plus, marines have no additional requirements, so I'll bump them up to 1936 after base infantry (should take about a day per year upgrade).

Then vehicle armor and engines, then upgrade med tanks, TDs and SP arty. We're going to need a good supply of fuel for all those armor units.
