Because I wasted about a month developing my province... in a country where I'm literally the only one playing (I expected people to start joining after a week or two, but they don't). I doubt I can secede, seeing as how my county isn't "active" yet.

Yup, that's the problem, not enough players to man all the 11000 provinces. (Even if half of them are in Greenland and don't even have a name.) At least in Britain you'd get help to rebuild quicker.

It's a shame to see Paul going but its understandable. This game is quiet interesting for this type of browser game and has allot of potencial I feel but its a bit slow going.

I will be doing some research in egypt later.

If Poland face rolls us or the game gets very stale after Germany is gone I might just hang around and start on the new server, although I do doubt they can keep enouth players to ever fill half the map.

I have 20 fighter planes ready for deployment, but something its missing, its not the actual planes or the resources to get them going, i guess i need a high level airfield or something, can some one confirm this? If it is as i read on the wiki a lvl 20 airfield "holds" only 20 planes?, its this posible?

No, a 20 lvl airfield hold 20 units of planes, or 2000 planes. Be sure you have your airfield selected when you recruit them.

I'm kind of liking the idea of "Fortress Britain" and seeing how long we can hold off against the Polish/Swedish/Greek hordes.

You can build building immediately, but you have to wait one month for units.

Applied to rejoin GB.  I occupied Halkirk, and a new player joined just before I claimed it, so we have someone there, just not me.

Ullapool is now part of my mini country, but not in my control!

So I am returning, without having achieved anything at all.  Great.

I do have an airport now though!
