it seems the bay12 allience is picking up pace  :P

We are looking at setting up a forum of some sort, as not everyone has steam/msgr to use as a comm tool.

Ive been busy with RL work but I have a list of all the members currently in the allience and we intend to draw up some sort of provence map to allow people to know who/what is where etc.

Also an internal Rail system is no 1 priority right now as this will allow mass transit of goods to already established factorys and bases, we have a lot of catching up to do as other countrys are already well established it seems, and they are already scouting the British coast.

The game really should have an integrated country based forum. I'm fine with using this thread and ingame PMs, or we could always use an IRC or something for quick chatting.

I'm up to 15k/hr production of cement and lumber, steadily rising. Not bad for 2 days in the province. My current plans are to continue with exponential cement/lumber production growth, along with a steady increase in steel production to allow for eventual production of the steel requiring infrastructure. Basically a complete focus on infrastructure growth, since that's what we need right now in my opinion. Once a proper construction material base is built, then we can worry about factories and ammo and uniforms and money and such.

Building a railway now is nice and all, but seems a bit wasteful when we don't even have trains yet. Putting those resources into production complexes could probably more than triple them by the time we actually have a train to put on the tracks.

As far as President, I wouldn't mind taking the role if you guys don't specifically want someone else.

I'm not as successful as you, being only at 4k/hour, but yeah. We are diplomatically locked anyway, so no one can attack us at the moment. We need growth. Loads of it.

North africa kinda sucks for productivity but I went there to defend suez canal but I am starting to wonder if I should restart in a another province along the canal as there is any 3 hills in cairo. What do you guys think?

There is still plenty of room in the UK propers if you want. Scotland is pretty cool.

I'd move there, but I don't want to start all over again.

It would be a good idea but all the areas left seem boring I can see some interesting action around north africa. I think I really need to move out of cairo seems a very bad spot for cement with no real upside to balance that.

Britain needs 11 more people to activate (shows 39 in the list of players in Britain, need 50+ to activate, or well "over 50" so we might need 12 more).

Probably best for everyone to stick to the British Isles, as I doubt we'd ever get enough to actually defend any of the other British holdings. Building up a solitary province in Africa is just going to paint a target on you when you wind up being all alone down there. Free developed province anyone?

I mean, Britain must have a few hundred provinces in India and a few hundred more in Africa. Unless we either get the ability to take a bunch more provinces each, or the game suddenly got super popular, I don't really see those areas ever really getting developed.

All of us sticking in one area means we'll have an easier time building up, as we can share resources and defend eachother.

We could also secede and create Boatmurdered, a new country.

True true the way I pictured it you guys could send units to help defend and I will have a base here to help with that... Also why is someone else able to attack and take then defend meanwhile we can not? If someone else can take the canal from us so easily and hold it we might as well give up now.

Also I unregisterd and restarted in suez but my buildings in cairo are still there O_o

Yeah, your buildings stay for the next player to take over.

Yea, whoever gets my province in China will probably be a happy camper. I built that one up a lot before leaving :)

So, should we secede or not?

It might be slightly fun but I think the diplomacy will be hard to do. (seems to be off when ever im on) Also is it respectful to the devs? Does not seem like the sort of thing they had in mind and it is free....

It would have allot of downsides just for a funny name. Also I fight for the King!

@King Cow: What do you mean? Is something wrong with the diplomacy window? Check this topic, maybe will be helpful: http://stratisimperia.com/wiki/index.php/Tip_18
