Who, or what, is Ab?

Most lulzy and memorable FB for a while. I do believe Ab was a wizard as well.

Ab was the most interesting FB in the world.

I left the place clean and tidy when I left it.  Not my fault all the goods stored in the main storage cave got scattered all over the quarry level.  Squirreloid'd probably be better off shoving them into a corner with water rather than destroying them though.  The magma would probably start enough of a wildfire through all the clothes, wooden items and whatnot to crash the game.

Wildfire of finished goods large enough to crash the game?

Progress screenies please? :P

That would require progress =)

Although I did think about posting screenies of some of the facepalm stuff I've seen.

Anyway, I am working on a plan.  A plan I hope will be suitably dwarfy *and* be capable of finishing in 1 year (and a couple days, its like 3 days to the start of spring).

I don't think you understand the enormity of trying to figure out *what there is* in this disaster to use as raw materials - i've considered pumping magma up rather than out and just tracking down materials and *if i can path to them* is a pain in the ass.  No, I take that back, you probably do understand, you just want to see me get dwarves moving.

Hours looking at fortress: 6
Hours letting time progress: 0
Awesome plans rejected due to lack of manpower, lack of equipment, or other constraints: 7

There's a weekend coming =)
(Besides, I need to figure out a way to have the wildfire of finished goods start on *Oliolli's turn* ^.^)

Oh, and for what its worth, there's exactly one demon visible on the map =)

Why do you want to pump the magma up rather than just out the side of the map? *confused*

I have pumps set up already, all you need to do is just make more set up along the area which I made. And optionally, make power generators and link them via axle through the spire to the pumps, which make them much quicker. This will pump magma through the fortifications along the side of the map. It isn't really hard to, when you clear the entire z-level of magma, dismantle the pumps, construct them down a level and connect them to the axle.

Its true, i do have a magma pipe up above already.  Up just sounded like more fun.

Yeah, i saw the existing 'plan' for getting rid of the magma.  It just struck me as undwarven!  I do plan on powering it though, just need to figure out where i can sink a shaft to it.  But simple means I can do just about anything else with my time =)

There's an axle shaft that follows the staircase down to the magma sea from the Aquaworks.  As for lower than that, you could probably just fill the adamantine spire with gearboxes

Got my big gunz back, and restarted my genisis fort. As previously stated, you all get to be dwarf'd.

Also means when it gets to be my turn I can actually go.
