Heres to hoping that a kobold or goblin doesent show up and pick up a piece...

Murphy wouldn't have much to do with that. That would be a memorial to your triumphs over hell. Murphy's law says you'll probably get a statue of a fly or some historical figure nobody cares about doing absolutely nothing interesting. Or worse, a statue of the single worst event to ever occur in the fortress, thus glorifying the enemy.

By that logic, it'll be about the dwarf that died in the year 32.  I saw so many engravings of that guy's demise, I'm surprised there wasn't a cult surrounding it in the fortress population.
