Two civilizations driven to extinction?

Aussie, you are a menace to all of Dwarfdom!!!

Well, I AM the King of Dwarven Hell and HFS.

I hate the fact that that makes sense.
YOU MADE SENSE IN DF.

YOU BROKE IT! FIX IT NOW! *Smashes internets*

Did you forget that I also won Dwarf Fortress?  8) (Well, v0.31.25 anyway)

I believe he intended to imply that Toady One will postpone the update in order to implement more substantial counter measures against players defeating the HFS.

How goes the reclaim?

You know there's a problem when real life starts getting in between you and Dwarf Fortress.

So sig worthy.

By the way, feel free to sig if you want  ;)

23rd Malachite
Armok's beard, I've been 'utting this off for far too long. Our supplies are dwindling, and dead spirits rise to haunt the living... That terrosaur flew away. We never did get to hurt it. Anyway, about those supplies. We're hoping a caravan will come, but we can't be sure if one will- egad! Sorry about that, these animals have gotten restless and toppled over a barrel. No harm done. We've gotten a well in place already, but several ghosts crawled in and stank it up. I doubt I'll be able to write for a long while... Good thing we got Mego the Third into the ground... literally.

Ok, I doubt I'll be able to handle the fortress now. Tell me how to zip, and I'll send a mid-summer save.

So have you actually managed to secure the fortress?  Or have you carved out a new one in the site somewhere?

I've secured a foothold on the southern edge of the map, in a hill.
