Mego III has been dehydrated for 3 months now. She may last 2 more. Esp isn't actually attacking her anymore, it seems. It's just kinda sitting there, staring at the ghost on top of a dwarf on top of 5 dead dwarves. I would be, too.

Someone should use Runesmith to see if the the Beasties do have Ambush status.

All enemies on the map when you reclaim are ambushers.  That's been true since at least .40d and probably longer.

I requested a turn on page 4, when spot nine was open... any chance of that happening? :P

Whoops, sorry.  Added you at the end, so you're Turn 13.

It's probably trying very hard to forget about the orgy involving 6 dying dwarves, three ghosts and itself. And probably wishing it knew how to get drunk.

Any chance I can be #14 then?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Pretty scarred, and with a relatively long name. I'm guessing that's the one that killed 5 of my dorfs.

Shouldn't that technically be Mego V by the way?  Pretty sure we got up to Mego IV in Swordthunders.  Also, it looks like it really will come down to the wire - Mego the colossal blister, versus the migrants.

Holy crap!  Seal the stairs to the caverns, lock the outside hatches and let the reclaim commence!

edit: okay, that is possibly the best mix of migrants you could hope for.  Everything you need, aside from some fighting dwarves, is right there in that mix.

I have them all stationed out in the aptly-named "Migrantopia" (where they first arrived). I'm trying to figure out a plan for the miner to get a pick so a secondary fortress can be built.

Oh, also, ever since the migrants arrived, around 20 ghosts rose. That includes Doren and the ghosts of one of my reclaimers.

You could always use wood to build a temporary surface fort

edit: wait... The Almighty Warrior-Dwarf Doren is a ghost?  What kind?
