And then your hands were promptly hacked off and sent flying in an arc or otherwise devoured/blistered by one of the FB's lurking in the fortress

A BLISTERING SUCCESS!!!!

It's not a success until an attempt survives WinterUntil then, it's just pure hilarity no matter what happens.

ftfy. Like I said, absolute SUCCESS!!!! :D

xDDDDD

I drearly win the reward for losing only one dwarf so far.
Also, what program is used to zip?

What ever you like, just make it a format everyone can use without specific programs (.zip or .rar, for preference).  If you want a recommendation, WinRAR's a good one, or good ol' WinZip

Haven't we had this discussion before? OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE.

So PeaZip for you Windows folks. I use my trusty GNU tar.

Doesn't WinZIP come .zipped?

Aussie, just admit it... They have all been successes. In the Dwarf Fortress sense.

You all turned Swordthunders into a bastion of madness that seems to warp in on itself under its own hatred of sanity.  I'm so happy!

Winrar works perfectly. They just beg you extra hard to pay them after th trial runs out, but it will continue to work regardless.

PeaZip handles more filetypes and never begs you to give the creators money.

I think there's only one way for this discussion to end...

Mapleguy, would you mind continuing an old Swordthunders tradition by forcibly enslaving to the fortress dwarfing Mego and EricBlank?

I just realised when taken out of context, what people must think when we say descend the strawberry shaft.

I got steam-making ghosts. I'm not sure if that's better or not.
