Planning something big for my next turn....  Is there sand on the map?

If not that, magma-proof stone?

If you think I'm planning on building a magma pump stack to the surface, you're wrong, btw.  We've been over the impracticality of this.

No, but it does involve magma.  It's more of a large quantity issue than anything.

Did aussie build pump pressurized water/lava mains anywhere near that level to allow for future construction or am I going to have a LOT of digging to do?

I'm not really sure.  The Megaproject I attempted during my year was simply cleaning up a significant chunk of the garbage laying everywhere on the map.  There wasn't much time for anything else, and I didn't even come close to finishing it.

I think Fresh Kills landfill in NYC might have been named after this place.

Actually, it was apparently named after the waterway it was adjacent to. Nothing's to say that river isn't the drainage for the Swordthunders floodplain, though.
