I was playing and I accidentally flooded the hospital and the lower half of the base with magma. I couldn't tell the difference between water and mud. IT WAS MADNESS.

So I guess this fortress is the exception that proves the rule.

Waiting on Archeron for the savegame.  I PM'ed him to ask him to upload it, otherwise we'll have to roll back to the previous year.

At least in the meantime I cost Mitchewawa some of his remaining sanity by showing him one of my old forts, so the wait hasn't been too bad.

Both Battlefailed and Failcannon were pretty insane. When I got my turn in Failcannon it was literally a smoldering ruin of immense complexity divided into what is and is not safe to live in, the latter being the majority of the fortress. Forgotten beasts intruding everywhere and not a damn thing to be done about it. Hellcannon, though, was fairly tame when I looked at it last. Everyone's dead now, though, so chances are everything's changed.
