Well, there are 2 ambush squads outside and a snatcher inside. And there is no military or a hospital in ST.

On my way home, so probably starting in an hour or so?

BTW, I'm going into swordthunders essentially blind, and this is my first succession game.

Pictures, lunacy and a dash of coherent engineering/construction/psychotic breakdown.  Shake well and serve one forum post

Bit of an early morning tomorrow, couldn't play for long. As it stands:

Well well, I finally emerge from my waking coma to find out that somehow, I was popular to be put in charge of this … monstrosity. Some guy I didn’t know just walked up to me, slapped a pin on my chest, threw some papers in my arms, and walked off, laughing. Good sign.  Where to start?

Ah yes, Merchants. They dwarven? Pity. Could’ve used the sport if they were elves. Still, they happily took the shattered beds as gifts. Those guys be twisted, I says.

Seeing plans for a axle heading deep underground, gonna see if I can get it fully extended downwards, see what happens… Seems as if ErikBlank gots some work to do, clearing the path to the axle...

In short, opened up the save, looked around, offered some trash up to the merchants, and I think I’ll try and connect the axle wherever I can. Not entirely sure what it's connected to, but I'll find out! I’ll also work on slabbing some more. The date is 7th Moonstone.

Just follow where the constructed walls are in the staircase and you'll find the axle shaft easily enough.  Oh, and welcome to the madness of Swordthunders.

Okay, my plan is to puncture a hole in the wall in several places, then attaching pumps to the axle, which I think I can extend into Hell, somehow. Then i'll pump it right off the map.

Uh, you know that pillar of Addy that appears to have been used for axle? Its okay that I unsealed it, right?

Some of the floor tiles are dry!

Also, apparently my plan was useless, but I can rework this to temporarily clear an area near the pumps so I can start clearing out those other rooms trapped.

A good chunk of them are dry now.

Additionally, it appears that my method does have some usability, as pouring into the pit won't clean everything.
