"Well guessing that I have a technically encyclopedic knowledge of dress uniforms and such, everyone gets directed to me. As for anything else... No racist jokes. and be careful. You can get fined for ANYTHING... Like for me for not wearing a bra, though... who would notice?"

[Sirus]

Wash chose to ignore that last comment.

"No racist jokes, be polite and clean. Got it. See you then."

Go to the party later. Have a glass of chilled water. Mingle.

You mingle in the reception area, with Talig (also in Ceremonial) Summers, Ahkassa (Who are discussing who has better sensors in their fleets) Varayis, the XO, and Steve (In a camoflage tuxedo. WHAT NOW!?!?! WHERE IS YOUR GOD!?!?!).

Wash steps up and introduces himself to Steve, the only person who he hadn't met and wasn't already talking.

(Yes, the Panther fits under the Stingray. the front Mass Accelerator is, the missiles arent.)

"well, Two Quarians on a non-Ssaros ship. Wonders never cease. What's up?"

[Sirus]

"Hi. Just introducing myself. Wash'Kora vas Iktomi; I'm the new Stingray pilot. Are you...Steve?"

"Yep. Steve Norris, Marine Corporal. Watcha need?"

[Sirus]

"Like I said, just saying hi. It's good to meet you though, it sounds like I'll be driving you and your men around."

He offers the lieutenant a human-style salute. He'd been practicing various versions all night long.

"So, what brings you to the realm of the settled?"

((Wash can't read insignia very well. I'm a little sleepy. I forgot to proofread. Wash is drunk again (somehow). LEAVE ME ALONE  ))

Wash tells him the story of training in the IA academy after being forced to leave. He carefully emphasized the training and assignment here, rather than the banishment.
