Sai'oda turned a shade brighter-her races version of a blush, but it was alot more noticeable on a Batarian when among humans...her left top eye also tended to blink involuntarily when she was nervous, which had the tendency to freak most people the Hell out. It did that now.

"My mistake, Ma'am. It won't be repeated. So, where do you need me?"

She still stayed in in attention until given the permission to be at ease. Sai'oda has learned many Human commanders were especially stringent about that, especially to someone like her.

Sai'oda did settle down a bit. Her color returned to it's normal shade, and she took a normal stance. She felt both of her hearts settle to a normal rate. Holy Pregenitors, why was did she feel so wound up today?

"Yes, Ma'am. Sorry about that. I'm just used to being held to a higher standard. As you can imagine, I've got alot of work in store for me to get past most peoples first impressions of a Batarian with a gun."
