"Interesting. I may have to speak to her soon." Saru gestured at Sai'oda. "How soon will she be able to receive visitors? I want to speak with her later as well." If it was possible now, he would approach Sai'oda; if it wasn't, he would find Adele or Thomas and request a sparring match, to try and improve his close-range combat capabilities.

"Understood. Datafiles indicate the Batarian sleep cycle may last up to twice as long as that of a human. I will give her time to recuperate." Saru made a rather meaningless gesture with his hand, moving it to the side vaguely. "Thank you for your time, Doctor Kakuna." He checked his internal clock, noted the time, and programmed a remind for ten hours later. Once that was accomplished, he took the elevator down to the cargo area to look for a possible sparring partner.

As you leave, Klaus chuckles, "Just Klaus... Just Klaus."

The elevator is pretty fast, and as it opens, you see Adele sparring with Varayis. Ricky, Ssarezaar, Lucinda, Dakka, and the rest of the Marines are around a spray painted ring. Varayis is in her fatigues and a singlet. Same with Adele. The two are at a deadlock.

Saru looked around and noticed the Quartermaster staring at him. After a moment of returning the stare, he approached and gestured at the sparring ring and accompanying equipment. "I am looking for a sparring partner to practice boxing. Do you want to join me?" As he asked, he took off the hat Keith had put on him and handed it off to someone else, as well as the shirt; he wasn't going to get them scuffed.

Adele grabs Varayis and gives her a headbutt, shouting "Bonk!" as it connects. Varayis gets knocked out of the ring

Ssarezaar walks up "And the champion, still is Adele Beauchamp! Any more sparring sessions?"

SARU and Thomas both say "Me"

Adele walks over, her small frame showing prowess
"Step into the ring... Good. Rules are, one, don't talk about Fight Club, first to yield, KO'd or out of the ring loses, and no limits on fighting style, got that? Good, now FIGHT!"

Saru stepped in first, testing his opponent's reaction speed and defenses with a quick left jab to the chin.
