"If you excuse me though, I was in the middle of weapon maintenance, so... I'm just gonna dismiss my self, mam."

You and Ssarezaar took her with her stretcher. She is in medical, getting a splint so Sai'oda can walk around. You can talk to any NPC.

Hmm... Saru is kind of a jackass so I'm not sure what to do with him. I guess I could bug the medic.

Until the frigate arrived at Berg, Saru had nothing to do except stand around in the straw hat and Hawaiian shirt Keith had put on him. He wasn't entirely sure why the Chief Engineer had done that; a joke, possibly. Most likely irony. He understood the definitions of many kinds of humor - sarcasm was dry understatement in scathing tones, irony was doing something entirely opposite of what was expected such as putting tourist clothing on a combat prototype like himself, anecdotes were stories with 'punchy' endings designed to both provoke thought and elicit a laugh from the listener. Organics being the emotional creatures they were, he supposed they had to have some way to 'relieve tension' or whatever they wanted to designate the function of humor as.

All the same, he was intrigued by Sai'oda's rancor. Chief Engineer Keith had treated him as an object, which he was, and Quartermaster Winters had beat the stuffing out of him, which was understandable because they were enemies at the time, but she had seemed determined to think of him as 'one of the guys.' Clearly something had gone wrong in her development somewhere, and the anomaly was worth investigation. Taking no notice of his current attire, he headed down to Medical - a place he would normally never need to go, technically speaking - and intercepted Klaus Kakuna. "Excuse the intrusion. This unit wants to know the status of the female Batarian."

As you enter, Klaus is about halfway through splinting Sai'oda broken arm.

"Ja, vat do you vant? A unit like you wouldn't be asking me for repairs, so you must be here to talk?"

Saru considered the question. "Talk. Yes, that is logical. I should get to know the crew as well as possible." He moved his hands in a vague chopping motion. "A dossier can only provide so many facts, and unfortunately this unit was not granted high enough security clearance to access the personnel's dossiers. It is also illegal to access them without the proper security clearance. So I am furnishing my databanks myself. Anything you care to tell me may be useful in the future. I would... like to get to know you." He nodded and waited to see what Klaus would say.
