Sai'oda thought...I've got to have a plan. Those purple bolts look pretty mean...but they're not very good shots.

"You guys couldn't hit the broad side of space cruiser!" Sai'oda holographic clone said, bursting from cover and firing wildly. She saw a few lazy bolts fly toward it, striking the grounds around it-but not hitting it, since there was nothing to hit...

The real Sai'oda had powered up her stealth generator, and was sneaking up behind the ugilest BAMF...wizard or not, a plasma blade to the back of head tended to ruin your day.

Pray to buddha, Allah, Jesus and Vishnu. Blind fire your Pistol around corner in direction of where you guess the floating fellows are.

Dwarmin: your backstab works... To an extent. It is roaring an unnatural sound, and it turns to face you, a purple flame wreathed blade in it's hand.

Kingfisher1112: you spray wildly into the battle, and since they are packed in, you can't miss. But you also can't determine if you kill any.

"Bug out, into the building!" Varayis yells.

Monkeyfacedprickleback: your prayers, oddly, work. You clip one in the gauntlet, and it falls off, unharmed.
"Noooooooooooooooooooo......" it Rasps, as it turns to dust.

Holy Shit, that worked. The main one is pissed. You get hit in the shoulder through cover, and there is only an odd numbness, as Dren drags you away.

"Stay Down"

Sai'oda tapped her wrist twice. Energy buckler on line-it worked against all sort of things, like it had SARUs stunner beforehand-hopefully it worked here.

"I made you feel stupid, didn't I? Yeah. Let's go!" She said, leaping at it, intending to split it in half from stem to stern in one strike.

After witnessing One of the things fall to dust after losing it's hand come to the conclusion They have thier brains in their hands. Or the gloves are somehow crucial to the thing survival.
"Sai the Gloves are the source of their Power! Take out the gloves!"
Shoot the main one. IN the gauntlet.

Sai'oda had done a perfect leap-and the strike would have killed anything else, but this thing just got more angry. It swung it's flame blade at her, and she raised her energy shield...

There was a brilliant flare! Sai'oda was sent flying across the room-he wrist device having being overloaded by just that single blow, and her arm broken. She staggered back to her feet, setting her uninjured arm to her blade hand with martial prowess.

She heard the radio. Gloves?

"I only need one arm to beat you, bastard! Come on!"

She might only have one shot...

Monkeyfacedprickleback: the main one is dead, killed by roundhouse kick by CPL Norris.

Dwarmin: this one didn't have a gauntlet. Neither did the main one. The main one had a circlet the other two didn't have. And this is the only one with a sword.

This keeps getting better and better.

Moves. Moves. What moves can disarm opponents?

Spearlock. No, spear soldiers only. Broadhand stun grab, depends on what sword he has.

He has an ornate scimitar. But the blade is broad. Perfect.

"Your momma was a two-bit Necromancer!" you shout as you charge. He appears angered

"My mother was NOT A-"

He gets cut off by an elbow to the throat, a judo chop to the right arm, and a Minecraft Tree-Fist to his sword. You have just disarmed him, but you almost failed the last one.

"Damn you to-" are his last words, as he crumbles. The sword's flame diminishes

"Let me go..." The girl says, on the far side of the room.

Ask her why she's up there in the first place. Does she have a S&M fetish?

Fire a 20mm round into the air, and attract their attention. If they notice, establish who they are, if not then join the mech's side.

Sai'oda realized her arm is broken, and falls unconscious

monkeyfacedprickleback: It would appear not. As Corporal Norris is helping her down, Sai'oda falls unconscious.

"Thank you." she says.

"First things first, who are you?" Norris asks

"I am Lucinda Valados, and I am just a 19-year-old with some kind of power. They attribute it to 'Drak'El' But I Don't know who he is."

Dren can't ask her a question, because he is assisting Sai'oda.

Any questions to ask this mysterious person?

Spaghetti7: You fire a 20mm round into the air. Neither of the two combatants notice you. However, they start battle-talking

The dark one is first: "We are the greatest warriors in the galaxy! We deserve the right to rule!"

The Mechanical replies: "We may be the greates warriors, but we are bound to honor to defend those that can't!"

"Fool, they are never truly grateful. Think of the Trilarians! We save them, and now we are at war!"

"You shot one of their ships, an act of War!"

"No matter. My Priests can resummon me at any given moment."

"Fight like a true leader!"

You jump on the Mechanicals' side, as they break off.

"Stay out of this, it isn't your fight."

"A Mortal, come to challenge ME?"

"Only for my people."

You and the Mechanical charge,. Any moves you care to use?

Dwarmin: You are woken back to consciousness.. By Dren.

"Stay with me, Its alright. I've already called a Nighthawk to a spot nearby. We're gonna get you out of here."

He lifts you up.

"Lets go!" He shouts

the other three follow.

"Left..." Lucinda says, right behind you.

You turn left.

A Large door blocks progress.

Dwarmin, Monkeyfacedprickleback, what happens now?

I'm going to assume this whole time I've been picking enemies off on the surface and not doing much of note. ^^^

You rush into the Drive Core building. You DID manage to take out some of their leaders. Nice.

"Options?" Varayis asks?

The robot seemed puzzled for a moment, although it was only really shown by how slowly he shrugged. "Options? Are you not the highest ranking officer among us?" He looked around. "If you are asking for the most logical option to take, that would be following our engineers. The fighting on the surface has calmed somewhat and they may be in danger. The entire operation rests on their shoulders. They must not fail." He removed a packed of ammo from a compartment in his hip, opened his upper arm, and placed the bullets into the ammo feeder.
