Biography: Sheb Strongsky was a bright and quite nerdy boy from a poor neighboorhood. Studying hard, he managed to get a scholarship to study at the Robert T. Herres Space Warfare Academy in Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. However, he proved to shy to make a good CO and was instead sent to work for the IARPA (Intergalactic Alliance Advanced Research Project Agency) as an electronic scientists. He is now on the Sky Searcher to test his lab's latest invention, a port that allow direct communication between a pilot's brain and his machine. So far, only the Sky Searcher's mechanical, a W-60 walker has been fitted with this new system
Appearance: Tall and thin, Sheb look like a normal human except for the shining metal port at the back of his neck that is used to link him to his machine. Alternatively, he can plug a Wireless Control Unit (WCU)that allow him to control the walker from a distance, but the signal can be jammed.

P.S. He got a captain's rank, but as a scientists he is nto expected to command. His missions orders put him at the same level as the Marine Captain,, but he'll in fact obey whoever seems to know what need to be done.

Walking beside his W-60, the WCU's hemisphere gleaming, Sheb arrives in the frigate's hangar. He looks uneasily around, knocking a few barrels down with the walker and fumbling some more as he tries to get them back in position. He finally notice someone with an Omni-Tool looking like he's doing a roll call.

"Hi, I'm Sheb Strongsky. I was told to report to the euh... -Getting what look like a old smartphone from his pocket, Sheb checks something- Sky Searcher frigate. Is it this ship? I guess I'm supposed to report to the captain or something? Hell, I'm not really good with all those army stuff, we're pretty laid back at the lab."

Sheb wait for someone to tell him what to do while trying to keep the W-60 out of the way.

[Kestrel_6]

Sheb: "No, just take your weapons up to the Q-Store"

Dsarker: "By the way, Summers is a female. Ssareezaar is onboard, and as Sergeant Winter has informed me, Captain Strongsky is on board with the W-60 Mechanical, sir"

Kingfisher1112: a heavy booted soldier walks up to you. "Sapper Joshua Dren, Reporting for duty!"

Inspect the engine room.
Whats the difference between a technician and an engineer? I think the engineer Make repairs and the like where as a technician  controls systems and operations. is there a skill overlap? As in can a technician repair a Computer or engine or such if an engineer is not available. Or if I make a exploding RC drone can I control it or does a technician need to do it?

[Dsarker]

"Ah, good. Very well, give her a commendation." He snorts. "Damned fool idea, taking a frigate out to babysit those scientists. We've got few enough ships as it is."

[Sheb]

"Oh. Euh. Damn, I guess I forgot my sidearm at home. You know, we usually only get them for parade and such, they're quite useless in the lab. I'm not even sure it's still working... Well, I'll go and get it. What should I do with the walker?"

As he says that, he turns around to point to the W-60, that also turns around, almost knocking down a passing technician.

Techs monitor systems, and engineers repair electrical stuff and physical etc.

The Engine Room is very impressive, the Multiphase Drive provided by the Ssaros humming quietly, sending purple and blue light through the room. Four Consoles are humming away

Sheb: "Don't worry, we have sidearms for everyone."

[Sheb]

"Oh, perfect then. Euh.. My stuff is in the Walker, maybe I could store it somewhere and get my quarters arranged?"

[Kestrel_6]

Dsarker: "Sir, this ship is for special forces use. We are just prototyping it"

Sheb: "Sure."

[Dsarker]

"Yes, yes. Mr Summers, are the sensors running?"

[Kestrel_6]

Varayis spoke up "Ms Summers, Sir"

"Sensors are in the green, Sir"

kingfisher1112: More pairs of boots approach. The pilot.

"Lieutenant, you are familiar with naval ranks, are you not? How does a commissioned officer address a warrant officer? A hint. The address is Mr."

The captain turns to the sensors officer.

"Good to hear. Carry on."
