As per protocol, Saru stands and heads out for the combat training. He has little doubt he will perform to specifications, but perhaps he could use some actual field optimization.

Sai'oda had been playing with a 4d cube puzzle-having set it's difficulty to highest-and was pretty close to solving it for once when she heard the loudspeakers. Great, now it would reset itself by the time she got back.

She entered for combat training deck in her light powered exosuit to find only herself...and one of the robots, naturally. No matter how fast she seemed to be, there was almost always one of these junk heaps that was a little bit more so. Given that she was a career soldier, she couldn't help but be slightly intimidated.

Sai'oda blinked all her eyes in sequence rapidly as she approached it-a sign of amusement. She stretched, in a few unnatural positions, while adressing it.

"Hey, Tin Can-are you capable of understanding me, or are you remote controlled? How about we get a spar in before training? I promise, I'll go easy on you."

Her exosuit, which enhanced her natural strength and agility, which was already a fair deal better than most humans, made what would be a lopsided battle a pretty fair one, from a physical standpoint.

Sai'oda had always found machine soldiers pretty much the same-very good for what they were programmed to do...and not much else. That lack of adaptability was exploitable. She wondered if this one was different.

kingfisher1112: That arrived with the Marines. Its in the Q-Store. As for handing out weapons, there appears to be a long line of crew. All want their laser weapons, courtesy of Armature Sciences.

Saru turned to the odd humanoid. "Are you speaking to me-" a momentary pause to scan his onboard database "-Batarian female?" The robot picked up a nearby stun rifle. If this was a practice bout, he did not want to seriously injure his sparring partner by using his integrated weaponry. "Very well. Let us begin."

S.A.R.U. takes a few paces away and prepares to fight.
