Wash rolled his eyes inside his helmet. He was a pilot, not a jarhead! Still, it seemed prudent to do whatever he could to help.

He was struggling with a socket wrench and a fusion cutter when a familiar voice nearly made him burn a hole in his suit.
What does Wash see?

Dwarmin: yes, one indication that it is a ruin inside is the amount of flora. There appear to be no traps ahead, but in the garden area ahead, you can see at least two enemies. They haven't spotted you yet. What do you do?

Sirus: you see that the woman... Barely, at about 19, her blonde hair pulled up in a ponytail and blue reminds you of... No. It couldn't be.

You check her name patch. Keelah.

It says VARAYIS. K. No Way

"Are you staring? It's kinda hard to tell. Hello?"

"Is Varayis a common human name? There's no way...but she looks and sounds just like Ms. Varayis back on the ship..."

Aloud, he said "You're not related to a certain Sara Varayis, are you?"

"Sure I am, Sara is my sister. We have been inseparable for so long... Anyway, I got called for pilot protection, and I thought 'hey, I'll go with the quarian' but my name is Kara. Your name?"

"Awesome. When should we set out to the ruins? And please don't have a fear of heights..."

Sai'oda prepared her SMG for a quick burst-maybe taking down one or both, but her true intent was not to kill them-but to see what defenses they had prepared, how many men were hiding, and then to retreat. She didn't plan to get drawn into a firefight.

Monkeyfacedprickleback: it appears you took a nap through the landing. Oh well.

You take out your pipe. As you light it, avoice speaks up behind you.

"Don't light pipes near the enemy! A sniper could hit you"

The voice makes you jump.

"are you my common sense? Where the hell have you been? Where were you when I decide to join the Army?!
Don't Light the pipe then.

"Saru, can you hold things down out here? I'm going to go catch up to Sai'Oda," Samane said. "Affirmative. I will 'hold the line' as you organics like to say." Samane rolled her eyes, wondering who had programmed the robot to be such a douchebag - although, an even worse thought occurred to her: maybe it had simply decided to be one on its own - and moved ahead to meet up with the Batarian, readying her shotgun in case she needed to fire quickly in these corridors.

Sai'oda blinked her four eyes rapidly, in true surprise. Now she was hearing voices? Either way, if it was a spirit, or her own intuition, she obeyed it. It occured to her it might also have been an enemy psychic...

Sai'oda quickly retreated into the brush.

She 'thought' back at the voice-trying to imagine broadcasting her brainwaves, as if she could do such a thing. "Who are you anyway? Can you even hear me?"

Monkeyfacedprickleback: "No, I'm not your common sense. And keep your voice down. The name is Varayis. Kara Varayis. Who are you?"

SerCon: it appears that Sai'oda has began pulling back, so you bump into her.

Vagel7: soon. Judging by Sai'oda's scouting, about a dozen targets.

Dwarmin: "No, Lucinda" the other question is wonderfully answered.

Keeping his voice to a whisper Keith replies
"I'm Keith Miller, Chief Miller- Er ahem Chief Engineer for Sky Searcher. Who are you? They didn't Mention any telepaths in the briefing... Mind you I slept through most of it. Ahh this may be an odd question but you wouldn't happen to know a Lucinda Valados would you?"

"I'm not a telepath, silly. But a Lucy? Never heard of one. I'm just a trooper. Not like my sister. How is she? Is she hitting on girls again?"
