"The situation, is that Dark forces have been seen in the forests and swamps. The crew of the Sky Searcher and 11/28 Division HHS had experience with them, on Lastros.

The Mission for us is to do a sweep of the area around these ruins, whilst the Sky Searcher's" points to you, Varayis, Ssarezaar and the Starjumper CPL, and Samane "team will sweep te ruins, for the source of these things. For the other three, ask your section or platoon commanders. Dismissed"

Varayis walks up to you two "So, Sam and Sai'oda, can I call you Sai? Anyway, once everyone is assembled, I'll begin the briefing, Kay?"

Sam shook her head at Sai's utterly failed attempt to trick her. "Understood." Her biotics and shotgun would be useful in close quarters, so if they got ambushed she wouldn't be useless.

Wash felt an unusual mixture of nerves and pure excitement after receiving word that the crew would be participating in a mission. He spent the time before the briefing overseeing the modifications to the Stingray and synchronizing his suit's systems to all of the proper radio frequencies and codes.
