James walked up to Sai'oda, eager for a conversation.

"I hope that our history and my potential relationship with Sam won't turn our communications sour."

Sai'oda turned to James-it was to hear his voice again...her twin hearts relaxed and beat in synch, making her skin turn a bit lighter in shade, which wasn't that happened often. Sam knew what it meant, more than anyone. He could usually tell her mood better than she could.

In fact, there were very few people that actually saw this side of Sai'oda.

"We'll always be more than just friends, James. I wouldn't tune you out, not for anything. You've got a fine choice in women, at least. She seems a good fit for you-She's certainly more...respectable. Not like me.

Also, probably won't leave you all bruised up every night like I did.

...though, from what I can remember, you didn't mind it much."

She grinned, remembering the old times-the movies, guitar sessions, the dinners, the sparring, the lovemaking-and the fights. He could be very charming, and open at times-or infuriating and uncooperative...and Sai'oda could be very passionate, but possessive and jealous. They made quite an explosive pair, and she loved every minute of it. Then it ended, and they both moved on-a pity, for what might have been,

Now, she was thinking ...This girl better not hurt you, James. I'll tear her to pieces...he might not be mine now, or ever again, but I am going to protect him as if he were.

James smiled, remembering the times when they were together.

"One of the things that pulled me towards you was definately your personality, you were truly...excellent."

He noticed that the pianist had ended the current piece and quickly walked up to him, asking if he could play a piece. The pianist stepped away from the piano and James grabbed the attention of the guests.

"May I have your attention please. In honour of our voyage up ahead I would like to perform Chopin's polonaise in A, "Military". I hope you will enjoy the piece."

James proceeded on giving an aggressive, yet graceful performance of the polonaise.

((I must add that my character is James, not Sam. You made the same mistake in the previous post as well.))

Sai'oda was totally still relaxed with Mal Feros blundered into her...

"Hey, watch where you're going buddy...I'm trying to enjoy the music."

She growled at him.

Quarians were none to skilled at reading facial cues, and Wash was worse than most. He could read body language fairly well however, and right now he knew that the batarian who had just come over was not very happy. Specifically, she appeared to be angry about something either he or Samane had done.

Well, in situations like these, the most sensible option (according to his natural temperament) was to fall back until he could try and figure out what was going on. He made his excuses and walked away, ostensibly to refill his drink. From a distance, it seemed likely that Samane was the source of the batarian's current mood. Wash wondered briefly what the reason was, but he had never met many batarians before and didn't know their species well enough to guess. He'd heard rumors of slavers, of course, but it was highly doubtful that a slaver could be employed on an IA vessel.

The bell tongs again.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, if you could enter."

The top ranked walk in first, followed by everyone else.

Everyone is standing, until the Captain sits down. Then, the entree is served: a prawn on a salad. Nice

After the entree, the main meal arrives, it's Kangaroo Steak, with gravy and chips.

For dessert, Cat shaped Chocolate

The captain rings the bell in front of him

"Ms Vice?"

She stands up, 91- year vintage wine in hand

"Ladies and Gentlemen?" Everyone stands at those words "To the Pantheon" referring to the Dwarven Gods, the Nine, Drak'El, and any other member's worship. "THE PANTHEON" everyone echoes back

The others are pretty much all the same.

After a few minutes of talking, the Captain rings the bell again

"(This is Ms Vice speaking) May everyone stand for the departure of the Captain and his guests"

Everyone stands to attention, as the four leave. Then, Ms Vice takes place where the captain was

"Now, if anyone has any fines to present to other members of the crew, do so now"

(Basically, you say who, for what, and propose a fine IE Sing Living on a prayer by Bon Jovi, do a russian dance, etcetera. I'll draw it to the best of my abilities.)

As the captain leaves, he separates himself as quickly as he can from his guests without drawing suspicion.
