Heres a sentence, from it. So maybe it will become clear.

Turns into:

He's a lopper is he?

Which means that whoever the hell mystery writer is asking himself about if the man is a lopper. Which means he's either curdled milk or cut something off. This was on the page about the executioner...it probably would have helped if I said that...

Ask where the goblins are and then go to the inn and alert anyone gathered there.

From the trouble they apparently cause for professionals, Fleshwalkers sound like they might be to fierce for us to fight now, but we could still run into them in other travels. It is best to ask about them now. "I take that these fleshwalkers are undead. Can they be killed the same way as normal creatures, or does it take something special to get rid of them?"

"What goblins did you hear about laddie? Goblins from the marshlands are around four foot tall, with camouflaging skin, very sharp teeth, sharp claws, sharp talons, they know how to make weapons from copper, but not iron because that burns those little sods, and have a tendency to lay traps and cannibalize their victims. Pretty sick little bastards...And as for their location, the farmers- out past the garrison town on the other side of the ravine -will know. Look for really tall trees."
He hands you your goods. You now only have one silver imperial and your goods((Which I'll add when I actually do the turn.)), you head towards the Inn and sit with those two other people you met. They are talking to a knight dressed in White, who eyes you suspicously.

Which Inn do you go to? The Lusty Jackal or the Dreaming Bard? The Jackal seems to be the cheapest and shadiest, but the Dreaming Bard looks more middle classed.

You know, I was thinking of setting up a chatroom for this, becuase talking to an npc shouldn't take a turn, but it does and it's a little unfair...but becuase of time zones and stuff this probably isn't a very good idea...what do you guys think?

Only the initiation a conversation should count as an action, like I greet the knight, but once you have his attention you should be able to talk to him as long as he's within earshot or you end the conversation, or have to make a speech skill check.  After that you should be able to have an entire conversation while others are performing actions depending on how long they would take.

Speech should be a free action as it were, skill checks within conversations being swift actions, and all other actions standard.

He should be able to perform 2 swift actions for every standard.

edit- listening to a long story should be a swift action per paragraph.

"You can't kill those things. They always come back, you can incapacitate them and make it so they never move again. But they'll still be alive. And the other fleshwalkers," here he shudders "They'll fix it right back up, using their own spare parts! The only thing you can do to really kill a Fleshwalker is to burn it into ash, and scatter it to the nine seas! Even then it will still be alive and trying to find a way back to its city..." He pauses and takes a long look at you.
"You going out adventurin', boy?"

"Yeah, that's the plan. Of course, my group will probably start out on something a bit less menacing than those fleshwalkers. I hear there is a bounty out on some nearby goblins.
So when you say they return to 'their city', does that mean a crippled fleshwalker will always seek the same location? I can think of some uses for a container of ash that is attracted to a specific location, provided that it wouldn't attract intact fleshwalkers or something."
