You wonder on into the stereotypically shady tavern. With a name like The Lusty Jackal you expect it to be shady and unclean. Well, at least it's decently clean. The bartender is busy serving out drinks to notice you, even though you stand two heads taller then most men. All the people inside are drunk as skunks and as armed as...badgers? Does that work? Eh. most of the shady corners are occupied with shadier men. You however notice quite a few people looking at you.
One looks like some sort of nobleman dressed in blue, with wavy hair and just the general air of being some heroic prince. He seems to be getting graciously drunk.
You notice an expensively dressed assassin who every one seems to avoid, he is also staring at you.
There is a knight armored in white sitting near the door.
You over hear several rumors.
One is that a statue, in the ruins outside of town, eye's are bleeding, or look to be bleeding.
You hear that the guard is looking for a young man who poisoned quite a few people. He has a silver imperial bounty on his head.
Another is that the Archaeology team sent to a nearby ruin hasn't returned, and the mayor of Crag is getting worried.
A band of goblins are raiding the Black Oak farms outside of town, and the farmers are looking to pay a bounty for each goblin head brought in with trees painted in red ink on their faces. Preferably not still attached to their bodies.
