[Fniff]

Fniff opened the door to the car and sat down.

"Right." Fniff adjusted his glasses. He was in a labcoat and semi-ironic t-shirt. He then looked around, slightly surprised. "This doesn't look like my car. I swear I parked it here."

[Gatleos]

"Hmmm... maybe there's a clue in the note."

Gatleos picked up the ransom note and scanned through the LOLOLOLs once again. Nope, nothing. He turned over the paper.

P.S.- We left a bomb in the convention center.

Derm stared in silence as Gatleos turned pale white.

"... Well? What does it say?"

[Kadzar]

Kadzar, dressed as a crossbowdwarf, speaks up. "I just had an idea! I recall seeing a documentary called 'Homeward Bound' that depicted how pets are able to magically find their owners despite vast geographic separation. So, all we need to do is find and retrieve Scamps, and he can lead us to Toady One."

[Darvi]

*glancess over Gat's shouler*

"HOLY CARP IT'S A TARP!
Okay, whatever, as long as we keep away from there we'll be juuust fine right?
Also, I am all in favour of retrieving cats."

[Gatleos]

"Brilliant! Alright everybody, let's move out! Next stop: Washington! Also, we should probably assume that bomb is on a timer and get the hell out of this building."

Gatleos sprinted out of the auditorium.

[Dermonster]

"Wait, what? BOMB!? Get out the way bitches!"

Derm swings his (father crafted) staff around wildly in his mad dash to the exit, laptop curled protectively under an arm.

"Everyone to Gat's massive mobile home! we're going in ten minutes, pack up or blow up!"

There is a brief *Clong* as he dives straight into the solid door, and after a brief panicked fumble, he wrenches the door open and takes cover under a small bed-type object.

I need at least 15 minutes to pack up all my poptarts and rainbows and cats!
GET ME MORE TIME.

[Kadzar]

"A BOMB?!"

Kadzar starts hammering through the crowd with the butt of his crossbow. "Out of my way, lesser beings!"

*trips Kadzar while examining the contents of his pockets*

"...what? You said 'lesser beings'"

Ok! I got all my stuff! NOW GET TO THE CAR!

*Jumps out the ground floor window and scrambles into Gats mobile home with luggage*

[Kadzar]

"If you try to steal my stuff I'll turn your arm bones into bolts and shoot you with them."

[Darvi]

Okay. Got everything.

"Dibs on the front seat."

*calmly, but quickly leaves towards outside*

"Last one out's a loser. Or dead. Whatever comes first."

Kadzar pushes his way through the unnamed masses out of the building and to the car.
