If it scares people into posting, then yes.

If they end up lynched because they didn't post, oh well. Too bad for them. Maybe they should've tried posting.

If nobody has anything else to say, then I guess we're going to shorten.

The other five were sure- Ottofar must go.  "You'll have to find me first!" he growled- then he ducked and vanished.

A quick search turned him up, though- he was attempting to hide under a box.  Said box was then smashed into him repeatedly.

No trace of evil could be found on him, though- it appears he had been telling the truth.  What did this mean for the future?

Everyone goes to bed, worried.  All except one.

The curator arrives at the museum in the morning, only to find the area blocked off, with emergency personnel everywhere.  A man in uniform stops him.

"What's going on?  What happened to my museum?"

The man in uniform frowns at him.  "You're in charge?  Did you know what was in that installation?"

The curator blinks.  "What installation?  What do you mean?"

"There was an installation, labeled DEFCON, ironically enough.  Inside one of its boxes were some poorly-sealed spent uranium rods.  The seal must have given out last night.  Radiation has leaked everywhere, and the place has to be cleaned."

"No!  The opening is next week!" moans the curator.

"Next week?" laughs the man in uniform.  "You'll be lucky if you can open next year.  It's a mess in there!"

He leaves to direct the crew, and the curator bows his head, sobbing.

Ottofar has been lynched!  He was FBI in your Keyboard (Town).

Powder Miner has been killed!  He was Tetrahedron (Town).

Think0028 has been killed!  He was Gundam (Town).

Orangebottle has been killed!  He was Demoman (Mafia).

Urist Imiknorris has been killed!  He was Weighted Companion Cube (Town).

Jim Groovester has been killed!  He was Defcon (Serial Killer).

Game over!  Jim Groovester has won!

Also, going against doomspeaker who was up for replace most of the time? Not cool.

Mwaha.

I rambled a bunch here, mostly for fun.

Yeah.

This would've been a lot harder if I had started the game as DEFCON instead of replaced in.

I hope everyone had fun!  Hopefully it was fairly well balanced, for my first crack at a BYOR-style game (and 18-man game- yikes!)

I was actually about to modkill him, if it makes you feel better.

I did actually make a mistake- I originally intended Jim's Big Red Button to be blockable, but I left "cannot be blocked" in his role PM, so it became canon.  Oops!  Not that it would have made a difference, at least.

People should've gotten suspicious after your roleclaim. The Goddamn Batman sounds too good to be true.

At least OB had the excuse of thinking he could kill you instead.

I was actually about to modkill him, if it makes you feel better.
It doesn't.

Also, had Urist not protected Jim, he would have been dead.
Nice job breaking it, hero!
Note to self: always kill people who ask for a replacement when I have a kill.
