Well, night 1 PM counted 5 scum with his one-shot. I believe he said something about it acting as a standard inspect with regard to auto-abilities, so if I'm remembering that correctly there are 0-1 scum left:

-Andrew returned town
-Dariush returned scum
-OB returned random
-MBP almost certainly counted (thank you for the info, PM)
What about Webadict? And ECrown? Wouldn't they both flip scum?
Yes they would. If you noticed, the people I listed don't add up to five scum. I was omitting the obvious (scum who returned scum).

Also also, I'm pretty sure Ottofar isn't the person we're looking for, as a three-man scumteam in an 18-player game seems rather unbalanced.
I don't understand your logic here. How does this make Ottofar not the person we're after?
We've found three mafia and a mafia-ally. There's one scum left. I think it's a single surviving mafia member (for the reason I previously stated). Therefore, I think the third-party Ottofar isn't the last scum.

Okay.
-The role he claimed is related to the US Government, as is DEFCON.
-He's been doing incredibly little all game.
-Plausible.
-Even for him?

Hm. It'd be plausible if I knew how the amount of anti-town and town scale depending on the players. I can't remember right now.

Yes. I don't see how "activelurking is scummy" doesn't apply to him. Is that his meta or something?

EBWOP: "if I knew the general town:scum ratio" is a better way to put it.

Imiknorris, why the assumption that the last mafia member (if there is one, which my gut tells me is likely) and the player responsible for the DEFCON countdown are one and the same?

I understood nothing, contributed nothing, but still got to win, so good game everybody else.

I'm also pretty sure that TF2 has a game mode where one team is guiding a rather large bomb to its destination, so Demoman is probably also DEFCON.

EBWOP: Yep.

Quote from: Tv Tropes
In Payload, a mine cart with a bomb on it sits on a track. Attacking players (again, virtually always BLU) crowd around the cart to push it along the track towards the enemy's base. The more players present, the faster they can push. The cart must pass through several segments of the map for the attackers to reach the end point. If the attacking players fail to push the cart for 30 seconds, it will slowly move backwards until it is pushed again or reaches the last checkpoint passed. The defenders win if they can manage to hold back the cart for a certain length of time, though unfortunately for them, the attacking team gets a time extension for every checkpoint reached.

I see no DEFCONs in that description.

Aside from aesthetics, what does TF2 have to do with the Cold War, or nuclear war?

I think it's more of a stop-them-from-getting-to-the-end type of thing.

I !none'd last night, due to not really feeling a significant opportunity for using my ability.

If they end up lynched because they didn't post, oh well. Too bad for them. Maybe they should've tried posting.

Okay, either I'm a 3rd-party miller (unlikely, I think), Jim is scum or the inspection was stoned.

God help us if we have to agree on pizza toppings at some point. There will be no survivors.

DEFCON doesn't go to zero. Look it up.
I also never said anything about auto-abilities and my role- that's an unknown factor, I don't know if it reacts to millers.
Urist, if it was Payload-based, it probably would be based on checkpoints, not DEFCON.

Urist: You just sent that PM to everybody Toaster prodded.
Which happens to be everybody.
Lurking isn't going to lynch scum.

Think:How very passive of you. Who are you suspicious of and why aren't you pursuing them?

You mean with my night action? My night action isn't offensive, it's supportive. Right now? Because I'm on holiday and every night I try to post something the power goes out.

I highly doubt Demoman is involved with Defcon, for two reasons:
1) The flavor doesn't match up at all.
2) The Demoman's explosion seems to be more like a mafia-kill ability whereas Defcon seems like a third-party watcher. Which, incidentally, means we need to find the rat bastard today.

Ottofar: For no explanation of third-party, and the likelihood that he claimed something that is related to his picture, suggesting that his picture is government related and DEFCON related.
