Ahahahahahaha... no. This is plain false. The scum (and everyone else) is not merely concerned with immediate survival. Public opinion of them matters to them. Check out the scumchat from any game. Odds are quite good that you will find someone mentioning concern at a town comment which is disconcertingly accurate, even if said comment is mentioned as a minor thing with no vote attached.
If scum thinks that they have been pegged, and that their pegger is quite certain for legitimate reasons, they will panic. Even the best will have a brief moment of internal panic- and even the best cannot fully disguise this panic.
Reasons to fear suspicion as well as imminent death: Investigations, vig kills, roleblocks, lynches on future days, increased scrutiny (leading to more suspicion), a fear of ubermenschen with psychic powers (seriously- when people get things totally right, that in itself is scary).

Most scum comments mentioning "concern" at any accidentally accurate town commentary will be the same "concern" town feels about isolated, probably-nothing scumtells. They'll point it out and mention that they don't like it, but they won't panic or stress or start desperately thrashing to get out from under it unless it's something serious. That means a serious, plausible accusation from a credible, focused attacker, not just an offhand comment from someone who's real attention is elsewhere.

As for panicking when that is the case, you're right that that doesn't necessarily need a vote on it to cause panic. It still needs something, however, or else it's just shadows and breeze. Since you're not really being taken as a credible source and are absolutely insistent on not killing anyone until you've had plenty of time to cool off and get distracted elsewhere, I find it hard to believe anyone would outright panic at anything you have to say. Be concerned, maybe, but panic? No.

Also, I find it hilarious that Mr. We Can't Possibly Lynch Scum D1 is now convinced that even the best of scum can't hide their cold terror when called out on being scum.

Investigations, roleblocks, etc. are a concern no matter what. Claiming that being hollowly suspected today is going to cause panic because of the potentially increased chance of trouble tonight is laughable. Trouble on later days is likewise stupid, because they've got no reason to believe it'll be any worse than it was today.

Finally, you feel you're outperforming several lurkers. Cool. Are any of them people you don't currently suspect for their lack of content?

I am advocating a No Lynch. I have stated multiple times that I do not trust my own judgement on D1 suspicions. I am not going to abandon this stance just because people have a problem with it, and as such, no, I will not be voting for anyone, unless truly exceptional circumstances arise (such as my own imminent death, as I am not scum and I know my death would be a waste)

Question: What makes D1 special? Shouldn't we nolynch D1, lynch D2, then nolynch D3 to give our suspicions another chance to cool off?

Alright, let me sum this up.

You want a no lynch, but you also want to scumhunt. You don't want a lynch, but you have "suspicions" (which as Irony said, is basically lurkers, null-webadict, and too many questions). If you succeed in a no lynch, you want to analyse what happened during the night. Why would you ever try this? You're walking into a whole cellar full of wine right there.

So basically, you want people to scumhunt, but not... "finish" the hunt? The fuck are you trying to do with all this? It's ONE townie if you're unlucky. The likelihood of hitting somebody that's really THAT important to town is pretty damn unlikely. Consider that we're in a fairly high power game.
