But seriously. The guy is tunnelling me unapologetically. My every act is to him yet more justification for my lynch. His indiscriminate desire to just see me hang, whatever the situation, and with no actual attempts to just set out a logical case (instead relying on the general dislike people have of my playstyle to garner votes), is a clear indication that he has no interest in actually lynching scum.

I did explain why it is a cheap strategy (it doesn't actually prove the argument is wrong, just that it doesn't have to be right- to discredit it, you should actually provide a counter-argument).

No. Bolded a relevant fragment. What I am saying is, I am capable of jestering. If I was a jester in this game, I would have to be pretty much incapable of jestering (given how close I have come to being lynched before, just a small 'slip' would've been enough to seal my fate)

Native: Funny, but that doesn't answer my question. Especially since I have a clear counter-answer: so NUKE will get lynched before them by people going 'oh, that must obviously be NUKE.' So again, how is DEFCON a good reason to lynch NUKE in your opinion?

Wtf are you talking about? I have no idea where this came from. DEFCON is a good side-reason to lynch NUKE because it's probably him.

On NUKE: You do realize how easy it is to bullshit a claim especially when you already revealed your action on him, right?

While you may be a miller I think that you have been hurting the town more then helping it. Your nolynch mantra and your blowing up hasn't really been helping the town find scum. It seems to me that you're scum who almost got lynched after buddying with webadict, yet you continue to cast around and strike at anyone you can, making excuses as to why you are still alive.

Ok, firstly, I am a survivor. I don't actually need to find scum (though I have been doing so)
My No Lynch 'mantra' (its not a mantra) certainly didn't hurt anyone significantly. It may not have actively helped find scum (though I disagree, as it promoted discussion), but it didn't stop anyone from scumhunting.

You disagree with my case on Dariush? You do not think he has been blatantly tunnelling me with no actual interest in whether or not I am scum?
Also, defending myself- what's wrong with that? I was almost-lynched yesterday. Should I just sit back and get actually-lynched today? Or should I take advantage of the extra information and extra time to prevent the town- and the scum- from lynching someone they really don't need to lynch?

By what twisted logic does that make it more likely I am scum. I accept that you can convince yourself that it doesn't make it less likely- but not more likely. That... that doesn't work.

Anyway.

I am moving. Surprise surprise, the people who are meant to be connecting the internet have no idea how to do so (And why would they? Its only their job), so I probably won't have internet for a day or two. Maybe I can get a few short posts in.

Anyway, anyway. I think I've made my case. The cases against me are ill-thought out (or blatantly false). You can call things WIFOM but that doesn't make them go away completely; you still need to address the issue raised, and consider that even with WIFOM one can often judge one option or the other to be objectively more likely.
Do the right thing, lynch Dariush, leave the survivor alone.

Andrew: And how/where did NUKE buddy Webadict?  I saw Webadict buddying NUKE D1, but not the other way around.  Also, NUKE seems awfully focused on one target (Dariush) for someone who is flailing around as you claim.  And on D2, he was very much focused on ECrownofFire.  Finally, do you believe NUKE's NK-stopping claim?

I lean more towards survivor at this point; I took a while to reread, and them both being scum seems a little unlikely now that I think about it. This is a larger game, and the game where they were both scum was fairly recent. If I thought he were a jester, or scum, I'd be voting for him right now. Of course, a jester NUKE would've been lynched on the first day, because he knows exactly how to accomplish that. He wouldn't really be defending himself either. I don't remember calling him a jester, though.

And what makes NUKE more likely to be DEFCON guy? I'm confused. Because really, DEFCON guy could be anyone in this game. Thinking otherwise would just be wine. His likelihood of being DEFCON guy is the same as anyone else's, because anyone else could've sent in a nuke or an explosion to make everyone think that NUKE is a nuclear bomb.

This is a shitty, shitty, SHITTY case to make for breaking the tie.  It's already been torn to pieces, but to review:

-He's not a miller, and even if he was pushing his lynch while you're not certain of his scumhood is a terrible thing to do.  It's far enough outside of D1 that a policy lynch is unwelcome at best.  I don't like any vote this far out that admits up front you aren't convinced the target is scum.

-The "nolynch mantra" isn't a thing.  NUKE suggested a bizarre thing D1, and hasn't pushed it since so accusing him of being anti-town by arguing against lynches is straight B.S.

-Webadict buddied him, not the other way around.  Lynching someone for being buddied is extra-strength WIFOM (see Cult Mafia where we used his buddying Dariush to save me from a majority lynch vote).

-As Jack pointed out, NUKE's been pretty focused and precise in his targets.  Also, his cases and posts have been well-thought out and consistent.

-He hasn't made any excuses for being alive, nor would still being alive make him scum (as he would be an excellent mislynch candidate, so you can make the equally strong case that his lack of being killed is a town tell); his being alive or not, and so called "excuses" for it are yet more WIFOM.

Even if NUKE flips scum, I'm going to consider this a terrible bussing rather than a pro-town vote.  You should NOT be hopping on the bandwagon with this sorry of a vote, not when your vote is going under such intense scrutiny as a tie breaker (coming on the heels of Think making the tie, this vote feels like a desperate effort to force through a mislynch at the last second).  Expect to answer for this tomorrow.
