You do not convince me. You rationalize your actions and because the result is favorable you become right.

You could always make it Cotton Candy instead of Rare Candy... since, y'know... adamantine is rare and all... >.>

Pokemon Orthoclase!

Pokemon Microcline!

Seconded. Or we could make Pokemon Orthoclase and Microcline at the same time, like Red and Blue or Ruby and Sapphire. Just fiddle with the spawn rates, add in some special pokemon to each game, and bam, Pokemon Orthoclase and Microcline.

I would love you people forever if this happened, even in just a really cheap lame way.

Wait, would all the graphics we could possibly replace be replaced by ASCII?

Well, kinda. Someone would have to individually go and replace each sprite or whatever with the ASCII character, but it would be possible.

Seconded. I'd make the thread, but I would probably crap out partway through the project. I'll do my best though.

EDIT: However I would gladly make the thread if nobody else was going to. This project will be too awesome to pass up.

If somebody does make that thread, please link it here. I may not have any applicable skill, artistic talent or practical gameplay balancing experience, but dammit, I'm REALLY good at being self-important and offering advice on problems I don't even understand! Can I get a hell yeah?

I'd open it up by reminding people that we should be creative with it, too. We don't just have to limit it to DF references! I just want to say the horror of a bay12 version of pokemon ;)

Damn it, I'm making the thread right now. Waiting for somebody else to is far too agonizing. I want my Bay12 horror-monstrosity now!
