Lets Mess around in Sword of The Stars
« on: November 19, 2011, 10:14:27 am »

I've been playing it since the giveaway that I won along with adwarf and someone else, and though I'm not that great at it, I thought I'd put this up anyway, since multiplayer games have been fun here before. Anyone interested?

Any questions/ ideas for games should be asked in the Hamachi room chat if you want a direct response, otherwise you'll be waiting until someone checks the thread.

Using Hamachi. generally on Sundays around 4PM GMT/11 AM EST or later. Other times are possible, probably.
Room: Dwarven Space
Pass: spacedwarf

Useful information:
Ingame, to chat, click Tell, then choose Lobby. This will circumvent the 'xenotech required to understand other races' thing. Make sure you don't use it for things you don't want publicly heard, though.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I'd be up for a game or two, I've got the Complete edition.

I'm pretty terrible right now, still having trouble getting the right balance of income-research-colonising with everyone but the Hivers (Due to their slow speeds making colony cost pretty irrelevant), but it'll be fun anyway.

I've also got the whole set, if you count the more nautical way of obtaining things until they can be actually gotten later, so theres not a problem there.

I'd certainly be up for any games of Sots. We organized a lot of games through Steam, though most of those games never finished...

I'd be up for it, despite not being good at the game, the main problem being combat.

Well, we'd probably want it on the weekend, unless we were going to have multiple sessions. Games can take hours, and I'd estimate a four player game would take like 2-6 hours, depending on how evenly matched we are. Also, it would depend on if we would have turn time limits, and for how long.

Also of note, if you guys didn't know, the AI can play in your stead if you have to leave early. The AI is pretty good, actually.

I'm  -5 GMT, and usually available in the afternoon on weekends, and for an hour or two on weekdays.

-5 GMT is EST, correct? Or is it central time.

Its Eastern. Central is -6 I believe, Mountain is -7, Pacific -8, if I remember anything about time zones.

How about playing each Sunday somewhere in the afternoon (GMT 0)?
