There were some sexual images creeping in, weren't there?
Nope. I would've shot them down if there were.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

They were there at the very end. Toady deleted them before you showed up.

I was watching the thread as it was closed. Unless they were posted in the span of about 12 seconds...

Are we talking about the third thread or second?

I know about the second thread, but the third didn't get banned for porn.

As I recall, there weren't. I was posting again to try and get it back on the rails when it got locked. You might be thinking about the pony thread before this one.

How do you mean that? As in, what the fuck were you guys doing or what the fuck why is the pony thread locked yet again?
As in what the fuck is all this shit about ponies and why does it involve rape.

Ah, well, misunderstanding on my part. I thought the first one got into dangerously close to rule 34 imagespam territory, the second got into too much of the same, and the third was closed for violence/rape, but all that's from hazy recollections and hearsay. I didn't get into ponies until the second thread, and I stopped reading during the plan to troll Equestria Daily.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I'm not sure whether to be shocked or disheartened that you couldn't keep a thread about ponies trying to make friends from being locked three times. A new forum is a pretty solid move.

I would say this is the DF forums, but this isn't the upper forums and its not really that funny in this context. So I also have no idea how.

It is rather ironic how people who love a show in which the characters learn a lesson every week couldn't learn a single one. Although at this point, I'm rather glad it happened, both so some of us can stop trying to prevent backsliding, and so we don't have to see gorefics all over the place when we're talking about the show or fanart.

To be fair it was several "lessons." It wasn't 3 locks for the exact same thing: first was posting rule 34 stuff, second was for image spam, third for discussion of rapefics.

But yeah, this is liberating, actually. Not so much a "bay 12" pony community if the forum's not on bay12, but I suppose it can still be reached from here through signatures and such.

Considering it, it does free up some things.  People can now just only visit and talk about what pony related stuff interests them.  Instead of having to endure things they disagree with...
