A Personal Apology from Bronies

I'm putting this thread up just so that we few who have participated in the... unfortunate rule breaking we've done on this forum can apologize. I personally don't expect it to change your mind, Toady, but it's still always good to say sorry.

I'm sorry, and I hope that the acquaintances I've come to know on this forum will find their way here so they can express their own regrets.

Yeah, I would probably have appreciated it more if people had had the sense to not talk for pages about how it is necessary to be able to categorize rape in fanfiction. For that matter, I apologize for even getting involved to the point of trying to stop it. Sure is a shame we can't have nice things without filling them with discussions and stories about absolutely horrendous things.

You know, maybe we should have a IRC channel or something like that to ourselves, so that we don't end up doing crap like this on every thread we make and being generally annoying to the forum.

Having never wandered in there or cared about MLP in the first place, I find it hard to care what shenanigans you've been up to, aside from trivia/amusement's sake.

My sympathies for losing your thread and possibly thread rights, though.

If we're going to be honest, I would almost rather not see another thread, unless people would take the hint and stop posting gorn and talking about rape. We've lost three threads, the latter two because of discussion of sexual content. I'm a bit shocked that people are apparently surprised that this happened.

I might become a lot less involved, mainly so I don't add to any discussion that might piss people off unintentionally.

I felt literally heartbroken when I read that ponies were banned. That's not something I want to feel again.
