From what I've heard, tastier than pork; very tasty compared to other meats, as per the cannibals/those who knew cannibals interviewed for the book "Dinner with a Cannibal."

Surprised that whale.to hasn't popped up yet.

This one actually gets cited a lot by alt-med types. It has lots of anti-vaccination articles, miscellaneous claims of cancer cures and similar and a complete rejection of the germ theory of disease. But frankly the same things can be found in dozens of other alt-med and new age sites that get taken seriously.

whale.to goes further in simultaneously hosting articles on 9/11 Truther arguments, chemtrails, climate change denial, how all music is satanic (OK, I'll give them Behemoth, but Radiohead is pushing it), mind control, holocaust denial (which makes their genocide page really weird), water fluoridation, cell phone towers, feminism being a conspiracy to destroy the family, and, well, pretty much anything you can imagine if you dig deep enough.

And to reiterate, people cite this page seriously for health advice.

"Cold War Hoax [Hitler and Communism were funded/created by Illuminati bankers.]"

Maybe it is a parody?

Not to the best of anyone's knowledge. There was a nice dig into it at Respectful Insolence which included finding the complete text of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. I know they have been referenced in at least one court case as evidence of vaccines causing autism, so even if it's a Poe it's the best out there.

Heh, I notice the page also mentions 'orgone,' that's probably one of the more funny ideas from the past century. tldr; of the theory: the universe runs on orgasm power. Naturally, it came from a close associate of Freud. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orgone

Isn't Conservapedia (or however you spell that damn thing) a parody anyway?

Hell, I bet some of the others are parodies too.

I doubt conservapedia is actually written by conservatives. It's like Stephen Colbert- he's not actually conservative, but he acts like it and also like an idiot to make fun of conservatives.

Edit: It calls itself "The Trustworthy Encyclopedia." This is an alarm bell for me. Going on.

Edit: Well I do agree with it, at least, about Hate speech laws, being an advocate of free speech.

Edit: Here we go, Hate crimes page. Noone actually thinks that. Seriously.

Edit: OK, maybe it's foudned by some of the nuttier ones of us :/

Never think we all think this stuff....

I'm really confused now but I think you were joking when you said that you supported hate speech. You really scared me for a moment there.

It's not that I support Hate Speech, t's that I'm against the government arresting people for it- because I believe it's not the gov's job to get into that kind of thing. You see, there's a little quote, lemme find it.
"I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it" -Voltaire
I very much disagree with HAte Speech- but arresting people for having racist views leads to such atrocities as this.
