Hell, Eden, Atlantis.
The skeleton here's called 'Gabriel'.
We traversed the Cthuluroom.
We're clearly nothing compared to Nova, we need to see if she gives any reassurance that she'll keep us safe, even if trusting her fully without the entire picture is foolish.
If the skeleton is THE Gabriel, we don't want to get too close, as you know, he might wake, blow his horn and by proxy, we've brought the end of time.
If the skeleton is THE Gabriel, but not as we'd expect, then there's still reason not to get too close - There's likely a base in 'reality' for the myths/lore/whatever you wish to call it, after all.
Whatever the reasoning, whatever we're looking at here, we're going to have to worry about our survival until we're smart enough to look after ourselves.
Nova may just have brought us to 'hell' to show off to her new friend, because she's lonely.
That, or there's another reason - we might be a sacrifice, we might be here as she feels we can accomplish something she cannot.
We've already died once because we didn't listen to her, however.
She knows more than us, and thus, is the greatest protector we have and the greatest threat.
If she asks us to do something, we should question it. Not to appear confrontational, but to appear curious. She may be inclined to share whatever knowledge she has, thus putting us in a better position. Or misdirect us.
