Any MC players looking to join a 1.9 pre-release 6 server?

hey all!


I host a 1.9 pre-release 6 minecraft server, and I run a clan on it that functions much like a dwarf fortress fort (I even modeled the base design after my typical DF fort design!)


It would be awesome if I could get some other Dwarf Fortress players on my server besides just me!

I'm using 1.8.1, are you on an older version?

Also, just ignore the communication error thing. It's a bug with 1.9

1.) Actually, the fifth pre-release is VERY stable! It runs smoother than 1.8 for me and a lot of other people.

2.) it's not a leak. Mojang intentionally let it out for testing.

make sure you have the client from http://www.minecraft.net/

download http://assets.minecraft.net/1_9-pre5/minecraft.jar

go to C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin - replace *username* with the user you are logged in on

rename the minecraft.jar to soemthing like minecraft.backup

copy the minecraft.jar you downloaded into this folder.

edit; you may need to update your java if it is not currently up to date.
