carve lots of random symbols into the tree with the tip of my -Cactus Spine Shortsword-
and then gather some bark to make a small storage container later.
You carve symbols into the tree, but the tip begins to fall off. (It's not really a short sword so much as a short spear).
You try to gather bark, but the resilience of the tree here is astounding. Coupled with the fact that you really cannot use you -Cactus Spine ShortSpear-, it is nearly useless, and you only get a couple, kindling worth objects.
Practice with the Sand Flute.
((waiting for drago to finish the transaction.))
You practice with the flute, and learn its ropes.
You learned the tune:
A Storm Song"Oh it's simple: I know the secrets of powerful Magycs! With a few simple movements, I warped the universe and made it shop them to tiny bits!
I have yet to decide what to do with you. For now, I'll take your weapons and provisions, and you'll stand where you can't run away and keep lookout for anything approaching so I can concentrate on my Art. You will be facing away from both me and each other and are not allowed to communicate. "
I take their weapons and provisions, as well as all the loot from the corpses, collecting as much blood as possible if i can find something suitable to do so in, and put it all in a pile.
I find the cacti with the largest diameter nearby, and draw a rhombus with a circle in it just at it's base, cutting it in halves, then take a section of one of those and try to make a stamp from it: if the symbol is bigger less precision is needed to make it. I test the stamp a few times.
(does stamps require a new roll for each use, or do they provide that reliability benefit?)
I also try drawing a rectangle, with an arrow from it pointing at me, containing two overlapping circles: one contains a square, the other contains a rhombus, and the overlap contains a head.
Quivering, the people submit, and give you:
A cactus arm(water for one day)
A small piece of meat, uncooked (food for one day)
Two bows, which are 34", and 25# each.
Six arrows about 23" long with bone tips on the front.
It depends. If you want them to reliably work, you must empty your life force(a.k.a blood) onto the stamp. If you do not, you can just take it with you.
The first one works well, and cuts a nearby rock into three triangular parts.
The second one takes a nearby cactus and cuts it open, but creates a small skin over the opening to help conserve the water.
The third goes spiraling around, and takes a bone out of the woman's right hand. She doesn't seem to have noticed, but will soon.
This new creation opens up into a large flower, which seems to stab at your mind. In a few minutes, you have fallen over, but are still very much alive. You head is throbbing, but you seem to have a few different things in your mind, namely the name of man, "Kirae", but also his wife's name, and where a band of bandits is camped. Why the two are connected, you do not know. The bandits are in disarray, from you can recall, and need a new leader. You have no idea where the are, besides in the desert somewhere.
That's what happens when you focus the knowledge of something. And roll a 7. And I want something new and interesting to come up.
