Badger related fun
« on: November 09, 2011, 06:31:04 pm »

So I embarked on a heavily forested area as some space pirates (Metroid mod), thinking that wildlife probably wouldn't be any problem.Unfortunetly,a badger fractured and broke open the foot of my metalsmith and broke the leg and foot on my mason. Will it be possible to survive without and doctors on hand?I don't have beds or a hospital, either.

If they can't move, they surely will die, unless you get one of your dwarves to be an emergency medic, who will undoubtedly do a poor job, but may save their lives.

SAVE THEM IF YOU CAN!

Any competent doctor would know to cauterize the wound.

*hint hint*

The metalsmith is currently hobbling around on a crutch, and the mason isn't being treated; Also, if you try to perform bone doctoring without tables or traction benches, it doesn't leave a bunch of *Pirate chunks* in the bed so much as a spattering of green pirate's blood which dyes the whole bed green.

What on earth ..

Alien invaders get bested by common forest animals?

.... this has the potential for a great movie script!

Stallone would make a convincing giant badger

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.

And the dwarves send a Dwarf to befriend the badgers, learn their ways.

Then pull the lever when they least suspect it.

Plot twist is the dwarf.... Never mind.

More fun:2 pirates are immobilized by a siege of badgers (Not a actual siege, they just came and left when my military showed up),and one migrant almost drowned by a carp.Just a side question, does it count as a kill if they die in a hospital?Or maybe flopping about with a leg broken and smashed open?I don't like badgers that regulary siege me AND being led by a group of "Squad leaders" that have their own titles.
