Das Führerturm is in the shape of an inverted cone, with each successive level being smaller than the last. Right now the majority of the party is on floor 6. Floor 7 is the dimensional gate lab, which is rather smaller.

Which means that most of this floor, if the party were to smash through it, would lead down to open sky and death. Feel free to take your chances!
