He was taken by a fey mood, and he wants rough gems, cut gems, and "body parts". I do have rough gems about the fortress, i figure i can order some to be cut at a gem workshop?

I can't order my own dwarves killed, how am i supposed to get "body parts"?

What exactly should i do to get him what he needs?

How do i make sure the bones are stored properly when the body rots?

I don't see bones on stockpile options

My gemcutter won't acknowledge the gems in the gem stockpile despite the fact it's only one room over, any idea why?

And will the dwarf in the strange mood go seek out the items he needs on his own throughout the fortress when they are in a stockpile?

Yes, your moody dwarf will leave his claimed workshop to go obtain what he wants.

Can you try using the manager to make the cut gem order?  Did you choose the right gems to cut?

Haha my manager is the dwarf taken by the strange mood, this game can be brutal. The dwarven liason got p.o'd and left as a result as well.

Pretty sure i'm going to lose him to insanity, he damnwell better not need *specific* gems, that would be a little ridiculous imo. He keeps asking for more, despite the fact i've seen him bring some to his workshop

Well, nothing on the list ever actually disappears, and the longer any one item on the list stays on screen the more of it the dorf wants. Try getting five of everything he wants, that should be more than enough.
