Mm. Why would it not be compatible, unless there's been some major changes in the syntax?

Not sure, it crashes when I try to start it with your object file, but with the vanilla 34.05 file it doesn't.

Generated a small world in 34.05 with 125 years of history and it came out fine. I'm not certain that even twenty entities will make sure everything is there, but we'll see q;

Before anyone gets cracking on a fix to language_EQUINE.tt, I'd like to point out that an English language translation file doesn't need T_WORDS at all. just

Oohh, that's pretty simple. I like a lot.
In other news, I'm clawing my way up the tech tree with my first rainbow bar. My lesser pony farm was augmented with a wild herd, which was trapped and horribly killed by my copper-clad military. There was, however, a problem with the 'liquid-holding item' I needed for the reaction. Apparently barrels, pots, and waterskins don't count as such, so I just cut out that part of the reaction. No booze for me D:
Have you been able to actually make that work? Do you need flasks or something obvious I'm missing?

That's the taintstone! Have at it, miners, while I get the refinery going.

Well. Looks like I don't have much more than fel stone down here, so any fancy stuffs I get will be in small increments from the traders.

This part uses jugs. I actually used beekeeping reactions as a template, and they use jugs for honey.

I'll be making a few personal changes and making a new world with far less mineral scarcity so that I can test all of your stuff without drawing all the materials in in trickles :/

Sorry, but that would be a negatory. I did as you said, and instead of names in English no ponies have names, period. I personally don't mind, as it adds to the hive feel I was aiming for and makes it even easier to keep track of everypony, but I imagine that kind of thing wouldn't be acceptable in the actual mod.

That's odd because I got names from it in 34.01, before I posted it.  I actually replaced the dwarf language, and my megabeasts had English names.

EDIT:
And I only found it out in 31.25, because against expectations, new words I had added to the language and symbol files showed up in my world as names.  Even though I had forgotten to add translations for them first.  I've tested it with vanilla,  I'll try it with your mod.

I tried to test it with the latest stable release, but it crashes on me every time in worldgen.

I got it to work with some mod called Fanon is Magic, by replacing the dwarf language with an empty file, and I had a thought.  Did you generate a new world, or did you replace the file in an already existant world?  Because I can get creatures with no name by replacing a language in an already existing world.

I got it to work with this mod with a little fiddling and the latest versions of Pony Fort and DF 34.05.

Can you post your world you genned, because I had to alter this mod to get it to not crash in worldgen, and maybe something I altered allowed them to have names?

I know that it's not extremely important to you,  but on any world I can get to generate, I've had no problem getting english names.  The link I posted before is the world I generated with the altered mod.  I actually found this method by accident, and it might get "fixed" in some future release, but I think it does make some sense the way it is.

Not a problem at all. If I remember correctly, the vast majority of changes I made are to creature_pony.txt; I even forgot to axe all of the aquifers. I cut the by-products out of the spectra reactions, and that's pretty much it.
Also note that I'm using the test version, not the latest stable release.

I see what you mean with the nameless ponies,  but it get's weirder!  In order to generate legends.xml and other files I had to abandon the fort, and then all the nameless ponies gained names.  I couldn't use the legends.xml after all so I used the raws from the save to generate a world, and the ponies had no names at first in legends mode(but they did in legends veiwer?), and after generating an adventurer and retiring, the nameless historical figures had names.

Getting sieged by the undead is... well, brutal.

The undead are composed of corpses from ALL available entities, so there inevitably are some flying and armored Chimera monsterponies and probably even Unity alicorns. And they still have their special abilities.
