Russian fire team

You are part of a russian fire team in 1945.You are attacking a small German town trying to wrest the control form them allies. you and your three other team mates hunker down in a building.
Players

(a bit of back ground, this is a few months after VE day, the rusians have attacked the allies and a grand war is breaking out, the Germans and Americans are holding a critical town form the Russian tide. Germany sided with America and drove the Russians back and are holding them on a thin line as reinforcements trickle in.)

I will be using a D20 for all roles with bonuses applied for situations
For making a character just put a name a specialty (such as close quaters or sniper etc.)And a wepon from that era
If you are in this one you may not be in the German Fire team
I will take 4 players

I suppose there would be a 4x scope on that. Had no idea that optics were that bad back then.

EDIT: If sidearms are allowed I'll add a TT-30 pistol.

No, it isn't that. There is a massive social dislike for fascism in general. I personally couldn't roleplay some baseless historical hate crime.

If this were about a war in Afghanistan I might play a rebel (or terrorist depending on the war). At least then there is a basis of hate (conclusion of the war in Afghanistan lead to the more recent war).
