I bought Red Orchestra 2 from getgamesgo and it activated on Steam, but I'm not sure if the same thing happens with CoD.

Either way... $12! Don't impulse buy unless you have a good rig, and even then it's not sure that you'll get good performance. This is really hardcore simulation, so don't expect to go in and have lots of fun without some serious time investment
