I will come back and I WILL SHARE SOURCE chill, I still haven't done that because my computer with the mod is still in another apartment and I still haven't got time to visit mom (and her laptop) to do it :P.

And "stupid things like K9", as Miko said, is a police terminology.

I'm sure for the amount that CEOs pay for their guard dogs, they would be insulted if we didn't address them the same way that that is used for the police dogs.  The CEO's probably get their dogs from the same kennels as the police, after all.

Besides, it sort of implies that the Police and the CEOs are working together.  Which matches the paranoia of LCS.

I can understand the fustration of the game being America-centric, but that is the setting of the game, and it really wouldn't make a lot of sense if you tried to genericize it.

Deon = Please don't stop, I myself dont mind minor grammar changes. I like love the new additions and hope for more, LCS has always been my all time favorite, hell even over Dwarf Fortress.  :P

So much great seeing Deon to get his hands on this wonderful game too. I only can hope you'll make an equally great mod as you did for DF.
btw have you ever thought of localizing lcs into russian? I have myself, but I was always put off by sheer enormity of the game and the fact that I know not much about how things go in USA, so I most probably don't get all the references.

Question regarding compiling on Linux - is it supposed to be compiled together with the main game, or separately? I did not find any configure script, nor could I create a proper Makefile. Sorry if this is written somewhere, I found no README with the files. Thanks in advance.

Try grabbing the main game's source code, but replace the contents of the /src/ directory with the code from this mod.

EDIT - or not. When I added the MOD and compiled the whole package, I noticed that the two extra gameplay options D and E (nightmare mode and the prolonged mode, I think) vanished, only A, B, C is possible.

On the already compiled windows version, all options are still present.

That's because the source code download turns out to just be mainline version 4.04, rather than the mod. I sent Deon a message to let him know of the error. ;)
