Suggestion: Change the key to buy brass knuckles from "B" to "K".  I'm sick of buying brass knuckles every time I want to change liberal buyers.

Although, I imagine it's good business for the pawn shop, lol.

Awesome, I'm going to test it now.

By the way, is there any chance you could upload your fork to github or something? I'd really like to modify the code like I mentioned earlier.. I think it's kind of harsh losing your teeth permanently when in real life you could remedy that problem through a standard procedure.

Prosthetics are also a possibility. Maybe even cosmetic surgeries and "plastic surgeries" for a charisma/seduction boost.

As a general rule, they should cost an arm and a leg. :P

I'll upload my source once I consider it something valuable :). Right now half of my changes are in XML and are cosmetic only.

Aha, no pressure there. I'm taking a break from a tedious commercial project and thought I'd pitch in some code while I'm able to have some fun.

I've managed to die three times since you uploaded that last version btw, that must count towards some sort of achievement. :'(

On my game there is a weird bug the E key is assigned to the 9mm but is also assigned to E for equipment also you should add later on if you continue this mod upgrade vehicles like upgrade the trunk so you can bring certain equipment brought with you but make the add ons to 1 vehicle limited and it cost alot of money just a suggestion for the future.Also great job so far I am REALLY loving it!

can you make sleeper send you a set amount of ammo with every gun.
i was haveing army sleepers send me 20+ rifles and not one bullet.

What I meant earlier, when I said things had been oversimplified a bit, was mainly to do with sieges:
In vanilla, when you choose to escape/engage a siege, you control your liberals in their safe house, and can wander around leading the attackers into traps and such. Here, you just go straight to a screen showing the enemies, with options to escape, fight or surrender. :-\
Unless, of course, Jonathan's version doesn't count as vanilla?

That's from the mainline/vanilla/my version. Wait out the siege and they'll come to you like you're used to -- just make sure to fortify first or you might take sniper shots for awhile. Fight early and you need to exit the safehouse. (That's why the text for escape/engage has changed.)

I had another idea later, when reading about the Waco siege. Maybe they force a raid right away, and a siege only happens if you fight them off initially. Not sure how you fight them off under that design though, so the idea isn't fully fleshed out yet.

In which shop is E for both 9mm and equipment? Should be really easy to fix.

The vehicle addons are a bit harder especially if you want to make something like armor, but they are planned.

I love starting out with submachine guns.  I just shut down the police station...on my first day!

Oh, and it was in the Conservative Nightmare mode.  They didn't even try to stop me as I left.

EDIT: I also shut down the Court House on the third day.  Unfortunately, I got cocky and died while fleeing from the Fireman HQ.

Started playing yesterday Deon. Looks good so far. Can't help but notice the Colt 1911 has 12 rounds to a magazine though. Is this 'cause of balance? Because I'm a bit of a realism freak and it irks me.
