You notice that they kinda don't want to do so. The Helios appears to be transmitting a location, and already, the battle is escalating. A pair of Ssaros Defender Class Battleships arrive, and begin tearing into the Bulrathi, as six Heavy Battleships arrive.

The frigate is beginning to take punishment from another group of ships, of the HU fleet. A Bulrathi ship is approaching. A scan shows it to be a Shatter cannon, a ship sized shotgun of sorts.As you fire to veer it off, it shoots the oversized cannon, heavily damaging the frigate. Your weapons have brought it to half shields

So, the fools wish to pick a fight? It'll be their last mistake. Open fire on them. Disable the ships and take them if possible, using boarders from the two corvettes. Meanwhile, make getting control of the centurion mechanicals top priority, and use them to supplement the boarders.

What do you do?

Fortis: your Engineers have already rigged the Centurions for combat. The engines are disabled by the semi-sentient Cyberon ship's lasers.

The boarding action has begun by the Centurions launching into space, and latching onto the ship. Already they have secured an area for your ships to board.

For this mission, a group of six Shortsword class frigates are going on an anti-piracy patrol. Due to their ongoing war with the Bulrathi, the Defender Class battleships won't be assisting. Leading the patrol is a Helios Class light Cruiser.

Do you allocate all your ships to this mission?

All 10 ship, seven from the Ssaros, set out into the asteroid field. So far, no pirate ships have been detected. The Ssaros Commander simply says, via high frequency transceiver.
"I don't like this. A perfect time for an ambush"
Suddenly, a dozen ships appear to power up, including a Heavy Cruiser.
"Avast ye, Ssaros dogs!"
What do you do now?

Loop around and focus fire on the cruiser

Your ships flank the opponent whilst the Ssaros ships break formation to engage their opponent. Their Dagger class fighters launch from the Helios class, as it begins firing it's two Plasma Cannons. The Shortswords are now firing their Particle Beams at their opponent. Your ships have successfully disabled the cruiser with concentrated fire
