It would be nice if you had some easy way to convert your goods to coins so your not constantly running out of room. Especially if you are looking to increase your wealth to a very high value.

Itīs easier to create wealth by buying materials and then making things of it. Buy undyed thread and dye for 50 bucks, then let your 3-times Legendary craftsmen dye, loom and sew into 3 crafts worth 1500-2000 dwarfbucks.

If you have extra goods, just buy expensive things, and turn them into more expensive things. I suggest buying valuable metal and cut gems, then encrust platinum statues with all the gems you can buy. Thatīs a show of wealth if ever there was one. Or make coins out of the metal, that would work too.

As well for the most part you run into hoarding problems when your creating things you not using.

In Fortress mode your supposed to build HUGE expansive storage rooms (and you always have plenty of room)

In Adventurer mode... Yeah dealing with the economy isn't easy. I wish there was a way to get SOME idea what things are worth in that mode.

The problem is what do you do with all your dwarfs then if not have them all busy making wealth? For example, I have a legendary stonecrafter. I convert all my rock to goods. What do I do with it all?

You can't buy coins (as far as I can tell) and you can never buy enough gold, silver. Making pimped out stuff seems like a good idea, but a legendary someone cranks out stuff so fast you can never keep him supplied unless the resources are native to the map.

Besides, coins are cool. I want a huge treasure trove full of gold coins, diamonds, etc. Hopefully lots of dragons will attack.

yeah, best you can do, is buy all the bars you can, and keep minting.
