As soon as the wolf was shoved into the arena, Matthias charged, and the wolf obliged. The wolf struck first, scratching Matthias in the right foot. Matthias, however, was more sturdy than that and simply charged the wolf in rage, hacking it in its left rear leg on the way. The wolf is knocked over, and the battle was over then. As the wolf struggled to stand, Matthias drove his axe into its skull, killing it instantly.

Dastot looked across the arena at the wolf, and gripped his rather blunt axe tightly. He took a breath, and he charged. The battle started with Dastot dodging two blows, then hitting the wolf in the left front leg with the pommel of his axe. He then charged the wolf, and from there the battle was won. He started beating down on the wolf, and even managed to use the axe properly when he hacked into the wolf's lungs. He then delivered a blow to the lower body, bruising the muscle and the guts. He charged the poor, breathless, and sick wolf again, and from there used the pommel and the flat of the blade to to make the wolf suffer, presumably from some psychological damage a wolf had inflicted on him earlier in his life. At one point, he even bit down on the wolf's upper body and tore apart the muscle. He finally delivered a crushing blow to the head with the flat of his axe, seriously disappointing his bloodlust, and winning the battle.
Copper Warhammer costs 36, not 32, so 4 Urists subtracted from treasury, leaving you with 4 before battle.
Flint, expecting to see a dwarf arrayed against him, was surprised to see a wolf growling at him, but to his human sensibilities, it didn't matter who he fought. Early in the battle, Dastot knocked the wolf down, and after that, the wolf had no hope. The human repeatedly bashed the wolf, at one point even kicking the poor mongrel. After playing with it for an extended time, he hit the wolf in the upper body, jamming the right false rib through the heart, and simply waited for the wolf to bleed to death.

Clara walked into the arena, the first female, but certainly not the last. The battle went quickly, with Clara not even being attacked. She charged the wolf to open, although she missed her attack along with it. The wolf tumbled away, and Clara proceeded to shop away at its limbs before striking it in its head, ending its short life.

Fekod nervously grabbed his mace, hoping simply to get out of this alive. He had a scary moment when the wolf managed to bite him in the right foot, but he managed to get free after hitting the wolf in the right rear paw. Remembering the previous battles, he tried to charge, but the wolf kept jumping away. He was hit once more, in the right upper arm from behind, after rushing right by the wolf after a failed charge, and then he got to business. He quickly knocked down the wold, and had a field day, striking the wolf no less than 14 times before bashing it in the head, killing any hopes of a comeback.

Sodel confidently took the blunt sword, and charged the unsuspecting wolf. The wolf managed only one attack, which Sodel elegantly dodged, before Sodel started toying with it. Driving the wolf all the way back to the end of the arena, Sodel took 5 pages worth of slapping the wolf with the flat of his blade to finish it off with a stab straight into its brain.
First person to have no errors!
Pan strode into the arena, only the second woman to grace the arena's rock surface. She took her crossbow in her left hand, and ran towards the sniveling wolf. The observant dwarf she was, she had immediately noticed that the wolf quickly died after a charging, so she immediately rushed the wolf. The wolf, surprised, was knocked backwards onto its stomach, and Pan took the advantage. She bashed at the wolf again, and again, and the wolf weakly batted its paw at the dwarf. Pan kept on trying for the killing blow, even landing a solid hit to the head and severing the upper spine. Eventually, after 6 pages of combat, Pan tired of this ritual, and actually started biting and shaking the poor mongrel around. The wolf could not stand the fourth bite, and bled to death amidst the bored applause of the tired audience.
Another error-less gladiator!
Tesr sprinted into the arena, barely making it in time for his match. The wolf, who was patiently waiting for him, eagerly approached what could be his next meal. However, Tesr wasn't so willing, and almost surgically stabbed the wolf in the left rear paw, causing it to sail off in an arc. He proceeded to disable every single one of the wolf's limbs in succession, before cutting the wolf clean in half, ending a long day at the arenas.
