Well, just because you guys are quick to get your actions in, I'll push out an early update. Perhaps, if everyone posts quickly, we can get two days in one.
After a wild Day 4, the crowds today are everywhere. Not only is the building clogged, people are flooding the surrounding area, hoping to get the news of the champion as soon as possible.

After a disappointing semifinal, Clara limps into the arena having lost her first place ranking, falling to second. However, her disappointment didn't show early, and she quickly hacked Naka in the right hand. Naka retaliated by scratching the human in the right upper leg, and a stab into Clara's right leg almost disabled it, but Clara fought on. They engaged in a fury of parrying, both hoping to strike the next decisive blow, and it was Clara, with a shot to the left hand, severing many nerves and forcing Naka's spear from his hand, that decided the battle. From there, Clara hacked away with impunity, not missing a single attack and killing the arena master with two hits to the head after he fell unconscious.
Clara takes third place, and wins 78 Urists from tournament and 14 Urists from winning.
In the match that everyone was waiting for, the two finalists stride into the arena, with not only a massive prize fund at hand and the first place ranking, but for the title "The Victorious". The two very evenly matched combatants charged into battle, each hoping to grab the early lead. Tersr struck first, punching Sodel in the left upper leg, but Sodel came back by slashing him in the lower body, bruising the spleen. Tersr batted at Sodel's left upper arm, but only barely tore the skin. Sodel again had a major strike, this time severing arteries and nerves in Tersr's left lower arm. Tersr managed to hold on to his sword and even try to retaliate, but missed and was brought to the ground by a disabling slash to the right upper leg. From there, Sodel thought the battle one, and slashed Tersr in the other leg, disabling it too. Tersr wasn't quite finished, though, and struck the other dwarf in the left upper arm, disabling it and fracturing the bone but not managing to disarm his opponent. he then almost brought Sodel to the ground with a shot to the left leg, but failed to do enough damage. Sodel tried to get in a decisive strike, but Tersr parried the blow, and managed to disarm his opponent with a shot to the right hand! Sodel could feel the pain over coming him, and desperately tried to kick the prone dwarf in the head, but after two kicks and a twisting of Tersr's blade, Sodel gave in to the pain, and Tersr slashed him in the head, shattering the skull and tearing the brain.
Tersr wins in an amazing comeback! He also wins 155 Urists and the title "The Victorious" Also, 24 Urists won from winning.
Sodel chokes in the end and wins 117 Urists.
After his resounding win yesterday, Fekod once again challenged a jaguar. The dwarf opened incredibly well, completely destroying the Jaguar's lower spine and winning the battle there in the second hit of the match. From there, it he was just playing with the poor beast until a bash to the head jammed the skull through the brain.
I'm thinking jaguars need a lower bounty for winning.
In his first match against a jaguar, Jaqué (or Jack as I'm going to call him so I can ignore the accent) didn't seem too worried. He opened with a charge, stabbing the jaguar in the lower body and spilling its guts on the way down. He then stabbed it in the lower body, fracturing the lower spine and ended the competitive part of the battle there. He stabbed the jaguar a few times before kicking it as a prelude to it falling unconscious and stabbing it in the head, shattering the skull and tearing apart the brain.
Fresh off his disappointment against the jaguar, Dastot strode into a match with a wolf. In a two hit wonder, one charge that resulted in a slap to the left front leg and one pommel strike to the head, Dastot jammed the skull through the brain.
Can't have leather gauntlets so 11 Urists refunded.
Swaggering around in her new bear leather armor, Pan attacked another jaguar. The battle went viciously at first with Pan kicking the Jaguar in the nose, tearing the cartilage, but then the battle slowed, only bruisings coming from Pan and only dodging away from the Jaguar. Eventually, though, Pan charged the Jaguar and knocked both of them down, and she took the advantage and jammed its skull through the brain.
Flint eagerly participated in what had essentially become a practice fight. Flint quickly hit the poor wold in the lower body and broke its lower spine, but took an entire page of playing around before he jammed the skull though the brain.
Matthias nervously clutched his battle axe and walked into battle. The battle went quietly, but the result was never in question, although when his wooden axe failed to even cut through fat, he must have been worried. Never hit even once, Matthias took his sweet time, only managing to bruise internal organs and tear only skin. Matthias got a good idea when he started trying, and succeeding, to cut off toes, and the Jaguar couldn't take that for very long and gave into the pain, after which it was a simple course of action to jam the skull through the brain.
