The sun is rising on another glorious day in the arena. Day 2 is just getting started. I'm introducing gladiator rank today. Basically, it gives every gladiator a rank based on their wins and losses
against gladiators, and net worth, which in case you're wondering is the total price of your items and skills, with the former being more important. It doesn't really serve a purpose right now, but it might, depending on the gladiators' response.
20 Urist Bet in addition to 10% of the combined worth of both gladiators, adjusted for net worth.
The only two women of the arena array themselves across from each other in a blockbuster opening match. The first battle between sentient beings gathered a large audience in the stands, and almost before the start is announced, the two charge. Pan scored the first hit of the duel, hitting Clara in the left hand with her crossbow, bruising it. After she missed on another attack, Clara charged the dwarf, knocking her over but missing the ensuing strike. On the ground, the dwarf desperately tried to get up, but not before Clara hacked her in the left upper arm twice with her battle axe, and once in the right hand, causing Pan to drop her buckler. The human pressed the advantage, hacking Pan in her left upper arm and damaging its nerves. The battle, however, was by no mean over, as Pan stood up with revenge in her eyes. The two traded blows again and again, both dodging and parrying as if they were veterans. The human repeatedly parried shots from the dwarf, but eventually, the dwarf lost patience and charged the much larger human. Rather than knocking Clara over, though, they tangled together and both fell over. Pan missed her strike, and Clara retaliated with a shot to the right arm, but did little damage. They once again started trading blows, with the two's dodging skills on display for the sell-out crowd, but eventually, Clara struck the deciding blow, a punch to the Pan's lower body, bruising the guts and debilitating the dwarf. Pan would manage just one more attack, before the vomiting started. Clara felt no mercy, and took the time to repeatedly strike the dwarf, and when Pan could no longer take the pain, Clara struck down the unconscious dwarf with a blow to the head, jamming the skull through the brain.
Clara takes a bounty of 10 Urists in addition to 20 from Pan.
Dastot had a early lunch reservation, and engaged in battle with that in mind. Charging early, he quickly knocked down the dwarf, bruising the wolf's right front leg on the way down. His next blow, a strike with the pommel of his axe, jammed the skull through the brain, striking down the wolf.
Two attacks, two hits, one dead wolf. Awesome. (Also, Awesomely short)
Fekod also had an early lunch reservation, but engaged in battle distracted. He took two strikes, one to the left front paw, one to the right rear paw, before dodging an attack from the wolf and charging it. On the way down, he used his buckler to hit the wolf in the upper body to little effect, before jamming the skull through the brain with his buckler, ending the short battle.
Another apparently wolf-hating gladiator strode into the arena sword in hand. The dwarf opened with a slash through the wolf's right rear leg, severing many nerves and slicing open an artery. He then charged, opening another artery in that same leg. Continuing his crusade against the right legs, he bit the wolf's right front leg, opening more arteries, tearing a tendon, and severing many nerves and tearing a tendon. He then cut out the wolf's guts, slashed off the wolf's left front paw, and watched it bleed to death.
Another wolf was led into the arena, and another gladiator walked in for the audience's entertainment. Sodel clearly had his mind on other affairs, and managed only one hit to the wolf, a stab to the left front leg, before the wolf charged at the dwarf. The dwarf deftly dodged, but the wolf charged twice more, to no effect, before the dwarf struck back. Hitting three times, he did little more than bruise fat and muscle. The very aggressive wolf charged again, missing, but both ended up on the ground. The wolf then bit the dwarf in the left upper arm, and the dwarf retaliated with a bit to the wolf's head!. Te dwarf then proceeded to hold on tightly, and opened an artery in the head. The wold tried to get away, but one slap to the head, which only bruised the skull, and one stab to the head later, there was only one lonely dwarf alive in the arena.
Having been forgotten by administration, Matthias was only brought into the arena late at night, but he was up to the task, and proceeded towards the wolf. The battle started off quietly, with Matthias charging twice only to be dodged by a jittery wolf. However, after a scratch from the human that shattered a nail on the wolf's left rear leg, the wolf started taking hits. He would hit the wolf no less than 10 times, but he only managed to bruise various parts of the wolf's outer extremities before he somehow had a strike glanced aside by the wolf's incredibly hard skin. This, however, drove the human to greater heights, and he immediately charged the wolf, shattering its left rear paw's bone. He followed that up by destroying the left front paw's bone before one more strike, this time to the end, ended the wolf's life.

With the tournament tomorrow,The Tournament has been fleshed out! It will be single elemination, and the prize money based off the total net worth of all the entrants when the tournament ends. First place wins 20% of total net worth, second place 15%, third place 10%, fourth place 5%. Additionally, any gladiator you defeat wins you the combined net worth of both of you, adjusted for net worth. Additionally, the winner gains the title, "The Victorious".
Remember, titles can be challenged for, but the holder only has to except one challenge on the day before a tournament. Any challenges that the holder feels is unfair may be appealed and judged by me.
